The 1 star rating is HIGHLY undeserved and
comparing the art to Eva Kiss's who started by outlining real scenes is a FAR STRETCH.

EDIT: Not sure if Dev is generating art or straight up reusing cg's from other games. If the latter, than I understand people's frustration.

Every AI out there is trained with the works of real people, be it text models like ChatGPT, image models like Stable Diffusion or 3D models like MeshyAI. The moment you use it for commercial purposes it becomes scummy as you benefit from the works of others without compensating them or asking for permission in the first place.

I get you dude. And it's really even worse. It's completely endemic to our system to tolerate thieves. This is true also for human artists - they train with images, and sometimes even real life viewing, of real people. They steal their images to train their so-called art, usually without compensating the person they are drawing. Completely scummy. Personally I blame the renaissance - many of these renaissance artists started before there were checks and balances and laws in place to prevent this sort of immoral activity and it has just become accepted by society.

ya know I get this is a piracy site but this is just straight up plagerism.... if dev had at least mentioned Eva on his patreon and said this was a fan made side quest fine. But no just came in and stole characters from ORS the story is all new but the plot is basically Cindy's Story in ORS. I really hope people report this guy on patreon and tell Eva about their duechebaggery.

0/10 next time put some work into making your own characters character designs and plot.

P.S. I am well aware this is a piracy site, here is the thing with piracy we acknowledge the dev's hard work on their original game, sometimes they even gain financial support from places like this, SOME devs even interact with AND post their own games here.

That said this is NOT piracy this is straight up plagiarism, which is stealing someone else's work and taking credit for it and trying to profit from said theft.

That doesn't make it scummy. I'm pretty sure they've already proven they can reach the same level of Ai art with just free to use pictures and not training it with anything else but that. So the argument that it's stealing is already done there.
IT also doesn't look as good as normal art still. IT's just less effort which is the thing the artists are really whining about even if they don't say it.
This game is taking a known character and making a sidestory with them. It's not a big deal, and the Use of AI here isn't disrespectful towards the original work. Rendering or using AI to achieve the same result doesn't matter.
We have this conversation every time a copycat game comes around and the EvaKiss defenders attack anyone who use tracing like Evakiss does and it's crazy how rabid those people are.

What you are forgetting is that this AI was definitely using game assets. This guy didn`t use some comic stile AI and tipped " Blond Girl in yellow shirt" and randomly got Cindy. And since Eva is buying Assets I can`t imagine the original artist is fine with AI reproducing his work or operates on any free to use licence (and even then almost all of them call for credit to the original creator)
I'm not against AI Pictures in general, I can see how they might help some writers break into the VN market without investing a more than they have into an artist. Although most of what we get from them is so generic even my dick falls asleep.

This dev didn't even change the character names, let alone the setting or mention Eva as the original creator making it clear it's a fan-game.

Idk, there's barely any content since this is a demo. Everything that is in the game, is on the previews so there's no telling yet if there will be choices or if it's a kinetic novel. I'm guessing more characters will be in the future releases.
