Well, this is a decent start for a first release title. And I liked the use of the auto propelled (very smooth) character movements scenes (I was also surprised that this was done using the Ren'py engine... But the stairs/ hallway movement, and the beginning with the car that rolling past on the screen, was really well done).
And I like the fact that
MC is written to have some kind of hidden power / ability, which I hope will make him even more of a bad ass in the story. And the school fight and classroom event was well done, as the player has the choice act beta, or go the alpha route (and beat-up some d-bags ).
But, I'm really not a fan of the multi location screen click event
(roof-top fight)...it would be nice or great if there was a choice added to keep the clicking spot to one single location (enable/ disable the random movement, to one location.) or remove it all together. (Most in the community are not fans of mini games, or any dreaded sandbox content that is usually added later to some projects.)
But I laughed when
MC's step-sis says she was going upstairs to take a shower, and as soon MC said shower in his brain...he was already off the couch and moving real fast on auto-pilot up the stairs to peek in on her. (…Also, it's great there's a choice before MC peeks... But, like I'm not going to peek. )
For me the story looks great so far (very polished), and I'm looking forward to more content as it's released... But it would be nice to know more details on that controversial three letter tag, as I mentioned it earlier in another post (If it's going to be present or not...and if so will it be avoidable...? It will save you having to sift through and answer the same questions, over and over again in the forms.)
Also, maybe adding (within the Developer notes section on your main page), list the projects future tags...as this will aid in gaining and retaining future supporters. (Many players prefer to know in advance, the types of tags that will be added and present with in the story. And if there will choices added to avoid any undesirable sexual content. Having this information established and out front at the start of a project, can only aid in it's future success. Regards.
