Fun concept, but bare bones. But thats alpha builds, so...
-I think madness and corruption should either be permanent or at the very least disperse slower. after an hours play, I cant seem to get my corruption past 10, or my madness past 50, since events are at the mercy of RNG. With an overabundance of "Settling my mind", due to constantly needing to rest and a dearth of events, I can't see corruption events like willing train molestation or tavern molestation. Also, locked out of purchasing and/or wearing sluttier clothes because I can't breach the "Shame" threshold, even if I HAVE the funds. Not sure if its related to corruption, madness, or its own stat. given that I can't see a "Shame" stat, I'm assuming it's connected to corruption
-Likewise, (IMO) fitness should either be fixed and adjustable by points from levelling OR a semi-permanent stat that only increases/decreases due to specific activities. Increase by jogging, or gym training, if thats a thing you're planning to add. Decrease due to substance abuse (booze, drugs, ingested monster/tentacle spunk). As is, I go one or two days without exercising (because I'm concentrating on grinding for cash, for example), and it drops to 0
-Should also be able to "look around" an area more than once. whether I see a random girl post use, get my own rapey scene, find money, or waste a click; it's annoying to not be able to farm for encounters in the same room. This is mostly prevalent in the slums, dungeon and outside (the city) areas. Isn't an issue in north, west, or eastern quarters.
-the art is wonderfully gritty. has that grimy feel I expect from Lovecraftian settings.
All in all, it's a pretty decent first build, and I'm looking forward to whats next.
