Just try it in my phone. Cant run well with joiplay since the app cant do desktop mode and the right side bar block the text. Try it with chrome still cant get pass char creation because the same side bar still blocking half the screen. How about making the side bar can be minimize like other html games?

Loading up the game on Desktop, it seems like the layout is not properly formatted.

The stat introduction is half hidden behind the buttons. Images are cut off at the top of the screen.

I tried maxing out the window, I attempted making the window smaller. It wasn't an issue with the webpage but it seems like text and images aren't optimized properly.

This is way too grindy playing legitimately. Never encountered a game before that fought so hard to keep the protagonist "pure". Nearly impossible to raise corruption at the start, since you need to gain 3 daily just to gain 1 since you lose 2 sleeping. Grind for days losing money at night to robbery or interest to the bank to afford the apartment, once you have the apartment you don't have to worry about getting robbed at night, just rent once a week, so then grind to get clothes to raise beauty/corruption (need to have a bit of madness to buy/wear the "sluttiest" clothing). Once you spend a month or grinding for every clothing/item slot, you can go to the cinema to watch porn at night to raise the corruption to the point where you can visit the gloryhole/service customers at the tavern/etc.

And the only reason I figured that out was cause I used a save editor to give myself a bunch of coin to buy all the clothing/items.

Now their might be an easier way to do it, but the game is not intuitive at all.

What they said
Agreed, WAY to grindy. Its not fun to grind away like this JUST to get ONE scene. Stuff needs to be ALOT cheaper, there needs to be better money gain if not cheaper items, stop taking money away daily, just get rid of the fee for the bank to keep money in the bank, thats just a dumb feature that makes MORE grinding.

I played this a few month ago and have to say, the new version is much better in many aspects. I see a lot of potential in this.

The save system needs an overhaul. In most html games you can export and import saves with no problems. Here i can only save in browser and have to use one that don't delete cookies after every session.

Other things i found irritating: the bank lady has two different names (Victoria and To...something).
The optics: most AI pics are good, but all in all the look of the city and it's people is very inconsistent. Sometimes it feels like 19th century steampunk, sometimes much more modern. You should go for one look. And for the horror-theme i would say go for the 19th century and make the place less sunny, more foggy. A good atmosphere is important!

The game experience: at first a bit hard. Loosing money nearby every night, can't find a job that brings much money... later i found out that "looking around" as often as possible brings more money - and store money at the bank when you have more than 50 bucks. That does the trick.

Another thing i found out quite late: the most game mechanics are explained in the library. Maybe you should give the players a clear hint in this direction?

And a question: are transformations already implemented, or do we have to wait a little longer?

All in all as stated above: a game with a lot of potential. I will surly follow further development.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.
We listen to them and they help make the game better.

1. In version 0.5.0, I'll be focusing on how the game's characters earn money. (I didn't initially plan, and don't intend, to make the game too complex in this regard.)

2. With each new version, character corruption and increased insanity will become easier to achieve. There will be more and more events leading to this.

3. Transformation will be introduced into the game gradually. Example: In version 0.4.0, you'll encounter two independent hypnotists who will brainwash your character. A sex scene will result in a nose piercing. Furthermore, instead of the "Achievements" section in the right sidebar, I'm considering making a "Features" section that will display things like whether a character has been brainwashed as a result of a certain event and an excessively high "Curse of Mind" stat, and whether this will have consequences.

4. The interfaces will also be improved, and I hope that there will be even fewer problems with them. Currently, I have someone helping me with them, but they're currently working on the "battle against monsters" concept, as we've already thought through the logic for this mechanic.

I just tried this game. I agree with the previous comments: the game has potential, but it is way too grindy.

Besides the excessive grind, there is another thing that bothers me: a lot of useful information is not mentioned in the game and has to be found through trial and error (and lots of save/reload). Playing the game efficiently requires taking notes, which should not be necessary for this kind of adult games. A requirement to take notes will alienate many casual players.

Or if it is intentional, then this should be disclosed in the introduction so that players know what to expect. For example, the first page of the game could mention something like: "This game expects you to take notes while you are playing and discover many things through trial and error."

If this was not intentional, then the game should display a lot more information about the costs/benefits of each action, about how to navigate the city, etc. My feedback below is based on the assumption (and hope) that it was not intentional.

Problems with the maps:

The maps need to be redesigned from scratch. Currently the maps are useless because they lack the most important information that a player (novice or experienced) may be looking for:
  • What areas of a quarter give access to the neighboring quarters or to the park? For example, what part of the northern quarter gives access to the farm? How to reach the cemetery?
  • What areas have a metro station?
  • Where are the shops that the player may be looking for in order to improve their equipment?
Currently, navigating the city can only be done by ignoring the maps and taking personal notes listing the location of the different connection points and shops. This should not be necessary.

Under the spoiler below is an example of my text notes in which I marked the important connection points and the locations of the shops. This information is important for navigating around the city, and it should always be visible on all maps.

Regardless of where the player is currently located, it should always be possible to see for example that the Shoes Store is in the Cinema District of the Eastern Quarter, or that reaching the Farm requires going through the Joy District of the Northern Quarter. It should not be necessary to travel to the corresponding quarter in order to discover that information. What is a map good for if it only shows your immediate surroundings and hides the information about the remote places that you would like to visit?

The maps with the isometric view are trying to look nice (in a style that unfortunately does not match the other images in the game) but they do not give any useful information. The names of the different areas are redundant with what is already displayed in the main window. And more importantly, they do not show the information that would be useful for the player: what are the connection points between the different areas, and where are the shops and other useful locations. The maps should be redesigned to include that information (for the whole city, not just for the immediate surroundings), or they should be removed completely and the players should be told to keep their own notes.

Costs/benefits of different actions:

The game is not transparent enough about the time and effort taken by various actions (working in different areas, walking in the park, etc.) nor about the expected gains of various actions (minimum/maximum money gained).

Currently, if you want to play efficiently, you need to take notes and discover the range of costs and benefits through trial and error. Save the game, try several actions and note the amount of money gained per amount of time, then reload and retry the same actions a few times to be confident in the average amount, then reload and try something else until you have enough statistics to know which actions are beneficial and which ones are a waste of time. That is how you can judge if your daily routine should include paying for the metro to reach the farm or tavern, or if it is better to walk through the park, or if looking around at random may actually bring more money than going to work somewhere.

If you do not want to require the players to take notes (which is not fun for many casual players), then each action should announce its costs and benefits. Here are some examples with made-up values:
  • Go to the Farm (10 min)
  • Walk to the park (1 hour, 10 endurance)
  • Work in the barn (2 hours, 30 endurance, gains from $12 to $35)
  • Work as a waitress (90 min, 25 endurance, gains from $9 to $23)
  • Look around (30 min, chance to lose $42 or gain $69)
  • etc.
The dark gray text that says "(This work will take some time and effort)" is not helpful at all. It should be replaced and should announce the exact range of values.

Grind, frustratingly slow text display, no "Back" button:

Many players have complained about the grind, so I guess that I do not have to repeat too much.

In many HTML games (especially in Twine/Sugarcube) or Ren'Py games, I like to go very quickly through the text that I have already read once, and optionally go back if I see that I was too fast and maybe missed something new. The way the text is displayed in this game is frustratingly slow. Also, it is also frustrating that the "Skip" button requires a confirmation. It would be much better if I could just click through the dialogues very quickly (a fraction of a second per page) and have an option to go back in case I want to re-read something.

Why is there no "Back" button? If you are afraid that the players could retry some random action until they get the result that they want, or that they could go back after getting a random negative event, then this can already by done by saving and reloading the game. Hiding the "Back" button is making the game less fun for some players. Please consider enabling it.

I have many other suggestions for improving this game, but I will stop here for the moment. :) I hope that my feedback will be useful.

Your review was helpful.
The last new workspace will be cleaning the lab.
I've thought about it and decided there's no point in adding any more new ones and that I should focus on the existing ones.
So, in the map menu, I'll add an option to switch to a more detailed description of the districts' contents. I'll also add a little more information about working in the library.
I've also read everything else and taken note.
All such reviews, even if they're negative, still make me happy.
Firstly, I'm not the kind of person who gets angry at criticism. Criticism is always useful.
Secondly, in addition to criticism, people offer me solutions to problems, which significantly speeds up game development.
And thirdly, and most importantly, I see that people care.
Even if someone doesn't like what I'm doing, heh heh. ;)

This is rough to try and play through. Everything is "Click next > Wait for line to load> Read 5 words because that's all that loaded for this interaction
Click next > Wait for line to load> Read 5 words
Click next > Wait for line to load> Read 5 words
If you're going to play this, be patient.

Is the combat not implemented yet?
I have a weapon, and I have potions that claim they deal damage in combat. But when I choose to fight while jogging encounter, it just displays the result immediately. Kind of confusing why weapons would be in-game when MC does not use them.

Maybe in the future, because I'm far from a fan of that kind of fetish. Creating any kind of event on this topic requires someone who understands what turns people on.

Any game event can be avoided.
To avoid tentacles at the moment, it's enough to avoid going to bed with a very high level of arousal. And walk away instead of poking the strange, writhing masses of tentacles with a stick. 99% of encounters can be avoided by using a potion that makes the character stealthy. In the future, when more events appear, I'll add options to block certain content.

In-game transformations include tattoos, piercings, hair and eye color changes, various types of horns, and body proportions. These changes occur through participation in certain events and can be customized by the player(Potions, beauty salon), affecting the character's stats. Most of these changes occur through the character's participation in special events or the discovery of a secret. Currently, the feature is not fully implemented (it requires more events, although images are already available), and the player does not have access to all of the exotic transformations.

Gibt es diese Spiele auch in einer anderen Sprache? In meinem Fall auf Deutsch?

Are these games also available in other languages? In my case, in German?
