Well, I would have understood on him if he had said "I liked the previous game, but I don't like this one." and now I was wondering if he didn’t like both this and the previous one, should we expect another game now? really strangeSome of us do want to know. lol So, spill the beans!!

Just because you don't like everything a creator makes doesn't mean you're not interested in anything new they might have planned.Why would you want to know about the next game if you didn't like both? does it make sense?
I'm not a fan of all of Tim Burton's films but doesn't mean I can't be interested in knowing any future films he's working on.

After a year, I highly doubt it was rushed. He took his time and if you played DA, he actually knows how games should end.
