that's true. branching is nice until it branches to n+1 branches and then nobody can keep track of what happens if did this on branch a99 but didn't do that on branch xyx999.Maybe the issue is that said path offers the possibility of a huge branching on the game's story but doing so would require a lot more resources than the developer's team can bring to the game. So that route ends up going to a more or less similar place.

No numbers, but it sounds like we might be a bit slower than predicted last week. Philly is still finishing up the writing and statics, and it sounds like the final few animations haven't been started yet, either. We could still see a release sometime in the final (full) week of February if all goes well, but I'd say the first week of March is more likely. I do wonder what Philly's planning for the bike animations. Last time they were a bit stiff; given that this game normally makes animations look effortless, that suggests the bike might be tough to pull off. I'm also curious to see what Katie (and Ellen?) are planning with Venus. Will this will be universal, or if it will tie into previous choices about Venus?
