Hi there! Awesome game so far! The images and animations are top-notch and every scene where the superhero gets kneed or kicked or punched in the nuts is so well drawn! Characters are beautiful, world-building is deep and has potential for more. I ran into the same bug mentioned above, where winning (and losing as well) from the gymnast turns the night into day. It was Aika specifically, if this helps you debug. I think this may have also happened after fighting Emma (blue dress lady) and losing.

Regarding the QTE,I also agree that it's too hard right now and would welcome the change to just arrow keys. Having them as QWXZShift means having to use your pinky for 6-7 keys in quick sequence which made it nigh impossible lol. It actually led to a funny scenario, where the only reason I won against Aika on the first night was because she distracted me and kicked me in the balls instead of knocking me down with her slide tackle move. As the game is right now, it's easier to get up and fight after receiving a devastating ballbust than it is to stand up after getting tripped loool. When I fought her previously, I couldn't get up after she knocked me down because of the QTE and lost. When she kicked me in the balls, it did a lot of damage but I was able to survive with like 50hp and then heal and fight right away, so eventually I won.

Speaking of which, are there any plans to deepen the mechanics/reactions after being ballbusted? I was thinking it might make more sense to have the "standup" QTE be much easier, but add like a "recover from ballbust" QTE that is a bit harder, and uses willpower (to heal your balls, basically). Just feels like when I get ballbusted, it does a lot of damage but doesn't seem to be that big of a deal otherwise. I'm not stunned or debilitated like the Guardian was after a single kick to his balls. Especially in those two-on-one scenes where one girl holds you in an exposed position while the other kicks or punches your balls. It would be cool to have a QTE or struggle scene/mechanic to get out of that hold, and to overcome the ballbust pain, instead of just refreshing to the normal battle screen. It might lead to a lot of scenarios where if you get kicked in the balls, you're very likely to lose the fight, but maybe it could be balanced? Maybe if you succeed the QTE you get healed a bit and get up to fight, whereas if you fail they ballbust you more? (I personally love the idea that superheroes are still men in the end, and are extremely vulnerable between the legs, so even they can be taken down easily if they mess up and get kicked in the balls).

Also, it feels a bit too easy to avoid ballbusts because you just have to use "Focus" to get rid of distractions. Might be interesting gameplay-wise and lorewise to make THAT a QTE, similar to when you're trying to avoid climax. Focusing is tricky when there's a hot babe in front of you! Would make it less trivial to avoid a ballbust, with the added thrill of "oh crap I missed the QTE, now I wasted a turn and she's gonna kick me in the balls." It would feel like I'm The One and I, personally, just failed to focus myself and now I'm going to suffer consequences.

Anyway, I've rambled on a lot here, but that's just because I really love the game so far! Also, I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but my HP is not healing after every battle like it says in the tutorial screen in the prologue. Another bug is when I die and it's loss (1/3) or something, my HP is refilled by my willpower is still 0. (This was after winning the Aika fight, and it had switched from night to day. I died on the next random encounter lol). When I lost to Emma before, it refilled both HP and WP so I'm not sure what's supposed to happen. I'm playing on the latest version from the google drive, v0.012, downloaded/installed from the 2.85GB file.

You've done a great job so far and I look forward to seeing/playing more!

As many people have said, if you are knocked down and can't do the QTE, then you're stuck in a frustrating endless loop. Whereas if it's avoiding the ballbust, then it's just to avoid one big hit. Which makes more sense from a gameplay perspective.

I would definately consider adding more depth to the ballbusting, if people would enjoy that. I didn't want to on the first build as I know some people aren't into it (which is why I made is largely avoidable). However it's something I'll look into in the future. Maybe do a poll on my Patreon in a few months or something :).

Thanks for pointing out the bugs too. I'm hoping to get a patch out today, but a couple of scenes are taking ages to render!

I've now fixed the night turning to day when fighting Aika :). I'll need to update the tutorial as well since I changed the mechanic of getting health back after every battle.

You should only get health back when you lose a fight. Though losing to the bosses does give experience. So if you levelled up after a fight, that would restore your willpower :).

It won't. I'm all for including a range of different fetishes, but there are things I won't put in and watersports / scat is one of them (along with Futa, vore, maiming, bestiality, etc... So apologies is these are anyones thing!). :). Plus there's already lots of games out there that cover the more "extreme" fetishes.

The game will get more actual sex and LOTS of different types of domination, as the hero gets drawn ever more into the villains dominant fantasies, but I still want to keep the lighthearted tone. So anything super extreme will likely be out! :).

I'm very impressed with the CG. Super heroes is an interesting theme to explore this genre. I find it really funny to see my 'super hero' get his butt kicked by some random girl he encounters on the street. There are bugs. Trying to 'stand' in a fight after being knocked down is virtually impossible. I don't like having to switch from controller to keyboard. Since the story is over the top, I appreciate the humor that accompanies it. I miss the monster girl that feeds off men. That is a core element of my fetish. But, the CG is magnificent.

Thanks for responding to my rambly post! I think changing the QTE from "standup" to "avoid ballbust" is a great idea. Anything that adds more ballbusting chances is great in my mind. Though, did you mean that even if we fail the QTE and get ballbusted, we'd still stand up and fight as normal? It would be hot to see The One get repeatedly ballbusted if he failed the QTE. Additionally, in those two-on-one scenarios, it would be cool to have this "avoid ballbust" QTE as well. One girl has you exposed, but you have the option to avoid the ballbust if you succeed in the QTE. That would feel more immersive for sure.

I think the issue with that particular "standup" QTE is just the fact that it was too hard, so we get caught in a loop. If we needed to do less button presses, and/or if it was arrow keys, or even if it was just the sliding QTE that you have for "climax resist" , I don't think most people would mind. You only have those two styles of QTEs in the game and people only have issues with the button press one.

Anyways, I'm probably biased but I would say that the people playing your game are probably going to be into ballbusting, since they saw the pictures in the first post so they'll know what they're getting into. So you don't have to worry about the ballbusting putting off potential players. I, for one, would definitely welcome deepening the ballbusting mechanics of the game. For me, the aftermath of the ballbust, where the superhero is stunned/helpless/powerless is also one of my favorite parts about ballbusting.

Thanks for explaining the stuff with the HP and WP. I think what happened was that I was defeated by Emma but still leveled up, which restored everything. So I think HP and WP is working correctly. I DID find another bug though: I defeated Amnesia in the prologue so she's in the cells and I've already talked to her for the day. I just constructed the DNA extractor, used it to learn the technique, then I went to the cells. Then I went to the elevator at the cells to go back up, but instead of going up I chose "Stay Here". Then the camera pans up a little bit, and then everything freezes. I can't move, pressing space does nothing. I have to quit the game and start from an earlier save. So it's a pretty gamebreaking bug. Let me know if you need more info to help you debug it! Keep up the great work!

I'm very impressed with the CG.
Yeah the girls look quite good, was very pleased with that, too many CG games either have girls who look too similar to each other or they don't look that attractive, or both

Thank you for your support!. I released it on this board as a pre-release, as I knew the people on here would be great for helping spot bugs etc. So I'll be releasing a "Patreon only" version soon. But I'll always make sure that anything released on the Patreon is added to the free version a month or so afterwards.
So a question on releases, when do you plan for the next public release to occur?

my two wishes for this game

creation suite,

create a hero or villainess and assign stats and perks. and have option to play as either, or none and watch the fights.
and finally, a way to hide the dialogue too.

i support top tier for these features. thanks for considerations.

EDIT: There's now a hotfix in the Mega & Google Drive folders to download after the game.

Hi all.

The new version is now live. With bugfixes and the completed "Aika" quest. There are quite a few changes, so please let me know if this has caused any new bugs to appear. If so I'll try to get a hotfix out today.

Given the amount of new renders and videos etc in this, there's no smaller BUGFIX file for this update. So it will need to be a fresh download (Sorry!). However your old saves should work if you copy them accross from the saves file in your old download to the new one (With the exception of saves in the "Downtown" areas. See below).

Requested Features / Quality of Life Updates

  • The "Downtown" maps have be reshuffled and are now around 30% smaller. This means that saves in this area may not work (e.g. you could spawn in an inaccessible area). So for any saves you wish to carry over, please move your character to the Civic District and save there. The change of map also meant updating dozens of elements of the game to match. So if any new bugs arise from this, please let me know and I will get out a hotfix straight away.
  • By popular demand, I have removed the "Stand Up" QTE, and made the move cost 20 TP instead. I still believe that QTEs in fights help with the immersion. So will look to find other ways to include them. However I appreciate that in the case of "stand up", not being able to complete the QTE can leave you helpless for the rest of the fight. Which is frustrating!
  • Once you have completed the "Dog" quest. The scenes can now be replayed by speaking with Kylie.
  • The Aika quest is now complete. There may be certain instances where you have previously picked up the quest and are not getting the call to start the next phase. If this is the case let me know.
Bugfixes

  • I FINALLY found the issue behind the days going wrong. It was difficult as it was to do with a plugin, so didn't show up when I searched for codes relating to the "day" variable. Days should now progress as normal.
  • I've also made the "Dog" quest appear anytime AFTER day 4, rather than just on Day 4. So if you have missed this due to the day skipping bug, it should pop the next time you wake up.
  • Fixed Patricia not being able to use her knockdown move, making her "down" moves inaccessable.
  • Fixed the car fire that froze the game if interacted with.
  • Stopped Alex from approaching you after receiving the "Aika Quest" call. Which was freezing the game.
  • Reduced the amount of lines Patricia says before her "Blowjob" move. Which speeds up the scene
  • Fixed bug where Kylie could do her ass grind move while you were down.
  • Fixed bug where saving the "Old Man" could result in you getting the experience / goodwill twice.
  • Fixed Alex still appearing in Aikas scenes after his rescue.
  • Fixed the same for Kylie / Dylan
  • Fixed Aika fight turning night to day
  • Updated HP tutorial to reflect new mechanics
  • Fixed bug where clicking "stay here" in the cells could lead to the game freezing.

Does it go black before or after the menu screen? Does the music come on but no picture? If you click enter do you hear a sound as if it's clicking the start button?

Or is it just open game in Windows then... nothing? If that's the case, have you tried closing any background applications that could be interfering with it?

If nothings working then let me know your system details and I'll look into it further.

i just see a black screen and nothing else, i do start the game and hear music but that's it and nothing else... i have no background applications. PLEASE CREATE A IDEA FAST I DON'T WANT TO MISS OUT ON THE BEATDOWN!

What version of Windows are you using (Are you using windows not Linux, Mac, Android, etc)? Is your computer a PC or a mobile device (tablet etc). Sorry for all the questions, but it's not affecting other people so I need to know more about your set up if I am to help :).

Okay... It's difficult without knowing more, so it may be a lot of trial and error. But I've uploaded a new file to MEGA called "COBD Black Screen Test 1". Please can you try downloading that and letting me know if the game starts in full screen?

It probably won't work, but it will help narrow things down.

The blackscreen bug could be a computer issue and not a game issue. Have you tried updated your graphics card drivers? There are also other suggestions online that talk about disabling DEP in the windows OS, which seemed to help other people run games made by RPGmaker. Maybe try on a different computer that you have access to and see if the game works there? Maybe you need to install rpgmaker xp or something?

For Garystains: I think you're doing a fantastic job pumping out all these bug-squashing updates, complete with more content as well! Thank you for continuing to do great work on your game. I have a list of minor bugs here just so that you're aware of them.

Minor bugs:
1) Not sure if this is a bug, but when I randomly encounter the girl in the green skirt, The One's sprite is really close to the edge of the screen. I only see his eyes and the front of his face, as if he doesn't slide towards the center of the screen enough. Only happens with this girl, the other encounters have The One's sprite fully on screen. I've checked and this happens since version 0.012 and I just didn't notice.
2) Playing on version 0.013(new), with the "hotfix2" data folder copied over: When I die from losing HP or surrender, the next day it says Day 6, Tuesday. Maybe my save is just forever broken? It was a save from 0.012. When I lose from cum in version 0.012, it used to say Day 1, Tuesday and giving me half of the intro. In version 0.013, it now goes to Day 6, Tuesday like the other defeat scenarios.
3) Not sure if bug or just haven't been implemented yet: Leg armor is considered Torso armor in the crafting bench, and if I make leg armor, I can't equip it to the Leg slot in the equipment submenu, it equips into the torso slot.
4) Icons for cup and torso armor are switched in the crafting bench (the icons in the horizontal bar menu, left of the GW number).
5) Increasing the animation speed in the settings seems to make the resist climax QTE harder by speeding up the heart symbol as it moves left-to-right.
6) Changing game settings mid-fight and then going back to the fight makes The One disappear, and adds Patricia's pre-battle pose/picture into the screen (while i was fighting Patricia, so there's two of her).
7) There's a flame on the side of the building in the southwest corner of the Downtown East map that freezes the game when interacted with (it's right above the border to the civic center).

That's all I can find right now. I'm excited to finally get to the dog quest and aika quest and go fishing for more ballbusting scenes loool. If you'd prefer me not to list bugs here let me know. I don't wanna stress you out. You're doing a great job!

frankly i have did all off that and it has no success... im having bad luck everywhere since i have bloated my windows... or i may have a undiscovered issue. got a few ideas?

Hi. Thank you for the feedback :). Please do keep posting bugs on here! I really appreciate them all. This is my first game so I'm learning as I go along. The game is also using dozens of plugins to make RPG Maker capable of doing the things this game requires, so there are a number of things that can go wrong, and people's feedback is helping me find and fix them!

I'm sorry that your save is still showing Day 6. I've tried to make it so saves can be persistant throughout updates, but it does mean that old bugs can slip through. The bug was tied to the "Cum Resist" move. Where using it was setting the "Day" variable to 5 (so it moved to day 6 the next morning). So if you had already used that on your save, then that will be locked in. It's interesting what you said about it going back to "Day 1 Tuesday" before. I'll look further into it again. Hopefully the dog and Aika quests will still go as planned. Please let me know if not.

The green skirt battle background, fire, and armor things are all bugs, which I've fixed now so should be ok for the next update.

The settings issues may be tougher as they are linked to a plugin. But I'll look around and see what I can do.

Windows 11 does seem to have issues with a lot of games. Sometimes it can be fixed by something as simple as making the game run in fullscreen rather than a window (which is why I asked if the version I made from you opened in fullscreen or not), and sometimes it might need people to download fixes or programmes seperate to the game (which I wouldn't be able to help with unfortunately).

The game is running, as the background music is on. So it's likely a video issue of some sort. I'm happy to make custom versions of the game with different settings, resolutions, etc for you to get around issues, but I'd need to know what you've already tried to do.

- Do other Rpg Maker games work for you?
- Are there any other issues with different games?
- What do you mean by "bloated" your Windows?

If anybody else has had similar issues with RPG maker games on Win 11 please let us know :).
