I read this with the voice of Jeremy Clarkson and it made me chuckle.
I understand that but even if somebody has a foot fetish I would assume most of them still appreciate other parts, so it'd be good to mix it up every now and then. This is specially sad of games where clear effort was put into designing beautiful characters in every regard and then they're reduced to feet only.
I understand if you're making a game specifically aimed at people with a feet fetish and outputting something else would take away from that, but some of the feet games I've tried have like hundreds of feet scenes and nothing else and eventually you can clearly tell the developer ran out of ideas for scenes.
Actually I'm interested in this now. If any user with a foot fetish wants to answer, would you always prefer a game with 100% feet only focus or do you prefer a game that has a clear feet focus but still has a decent amount of ass, tits, pussy, etc?

I've tried arguing this with devs and users alike and without fail it always ends with an angry foot mob dictating the content and ushering you out the door... Rudely... because apparently there are not enough foot fetish games already out there... A delusional statement at best. I've got nothing against the fetish though. Just like you say, it doesn't always have to be about feet when femdom is involved. Masochist or not we still appreciate all of a woman's body.
That's interesting, but I'm not trying to start anything though. I think I've seen a phenomenon related to what you describe when a game that wasn't about feet at all ended up going the feet only route due to pressure from patreons. It was like a weird, aggressive takeover.
I guess my curiosity stems from the idea that a fetish like femdom for example is more about the context of the situation and power dynamics so there's an extremely diverse array of possibilities when it comes to presenting it which can be outright sexual in a myriad ways or not at all. But when it is something as specific as feet it seems rather limiting, or maybe I'm just not getting it.
Would prefer a good mix. My preference would be for most if not all girls to have one scene involving the kink in a game focused on it.

My understanding is that individuals with a strong fetish for feet and femdom often assert that the only way to submit to a woman is by focusing exclusively on her feet. According to this view, if you're not worshipping the feet, you're not truly into femdom; you're just pretending. Moreover, if you are worshipping the feet, that is all you're entitled to, as you supposedly don't deserve anything beyond that. I find this mindset extremely limiting and believe it leads to unsatisfactory adult games.
At risk of becoming the stereotype you're describing, I haven't really noticed any games that get taken over by the foot community. Pretty much the only games that I've played that are vast majority foot content are ones where the dev is just that into the kink as a whole, like this one. If anything, I find myself running into the issue of "game has tag, but only one scene actually involving it"

Fair statement but, there is bias involved on both our sides. We'll always remember the bad experiences over the good. What I was describing though, I've witnessed on this forum 2... Maybe 3 times during my entire stint here. It's much more prevalent and a bigger issue on developer's funding sites like patreon or subscribe star. The foot community are not shy at throwing the money to get what they want. For example, a poll showing about 20 different fetishes and the foot fetish wins by a reasonable margin. The problem with that though is the dev (spurred on by the feet lovers) listened predominately to the foot vote, even though the total number of votes for all other fetishes far outweighed the total votes for feet.

Most content having foot fetish is simply this way. It's seen as submissive due to the inherent nature associated with feet in most societies. Dating all the way back to I think the greeks or romans where washing someone else's feet is seen as a act of humbling ones-self?
