You can look at the 3 pictures in the OP. 1 is a slime sex scene, 2nd is claire giving a blowjob to a guard, 3rd is orc rape scene where claire goes all aheago.
Now, which is hottest scene? I'd say the 2nd.

Claire has to lower herself to do sexual favors to a stranger which it has wide ranging implications. The guy might go around telling other people what a whore she is, she might get an std from it, the guy could get violent on her, she's not going to have a good time but she has to do it anyways. Now how do the other scenes go? A magic slime wants to fuck a woman because of japanese censorship laws, that offers zero excitement besides the basic visual properties of naked ladies. Being raped by a magic monster has no implications to anyone, its not embarrassing, its not unfair, it's just something absurd.
In the orc scene she has plastic body that doesn't get hurt from being abused, she obviously loves being fucked by some magical creature who for some reason finds another species attractive, theres nothing to relate to in the guy fucking Claire. She doesn't act like a real woman. It's just a basic fantasy sex where neither participant is relatable at any level.

I'd say futa goes the way of those monster scenarios, I don't have model of reality in my brain with futas in it. I don't have a model about how they live their lives, what does sex mean to them, what are the roles of different sexes, how does their physiology work. They're neither men, or women, they're uncategorized. Now it's possible to build those models in the game, but it requires a lot of work and engaging the players in the lives of futas, their wants and desires, their personalities etc. If you just drop the player into a scenario that isn't built up beforehand the player is left with models in their heads and if those don't exist the scene has zero emotional connection.

Here is a sneak peek of the 2nd set coming into Claire's Quest! This is from the first mission of the Sisters of Fertility questline. The Sisters can be joined by finding any one of the High Sisters (either Peony, Rose, or Lily) and impressing them enough to win an invitation to join the Temple.

In this scene, you can see futa-Claire! All futa scenes, including futa-Claire herself, are limited to the Temple, so that those seeking futa content know where to go + those who want to avoid it can easily do so.

Since the overhaul is underway, we are now also introducing the outfits mechanic. When in certain jobs or questlines, Claire will automatically switch from her default dress to certain outfits. In this case, Claire is wearing a Sister's habit.

Other planned outfits include the shieldmaiden and barmaid

So I'm assuming that the temple is the sorceress questline? The one path I wanted to do, I have to have the one content I don't care about?

You over complicate the situation! Claire has to have a certain amount of each stat to accomplish tasks, whether the Dev has plans to do something with those stats and any conscious has yet to be seen.

I don't question that your mind work this way. That's ok. But to me its practically opposite. There are women with penises in the real world. But there's no slime monsters or orcs. So I can much more easily imagine that kind of sex. Its perfectly ok that you don't enjoy that kind of content, and believe me there's a ton of weird shit in games nowadays that I just try to ignore too, but too many others apparently like it. My problem is with normalization of humiliation, violence, rape, manipulation, lack of consent, etc, and not with women with penises who enjoy themselves.

I hit Esc, then Inventory, then I see a page with Inventory, Food Only, Books Only, Quest Only. I click Inventory and then an item in my Inventory is highlighted. I scroll to the item I want Claire to equip, hit Enter, and then the portrait of Claire pops up. I try hitting Enter or clicking on her portrait but nothing happens.

THere one for Equip, Calire will be highlighted click on her Avatar the next window you have three options, EQUIP, OPTIMIZE, CLEAR click EQUIP, then Weapon. You can pick the weapon you want and she will have it.

FORGET I said all that she will automatically use any weapons, including the chest protector. So you dont have to equip anything, as long as you have it in your inventory she will use it. Sorry about that!

I was also on Overgrown Genesis forum I got Claire and Juno mixed up.

There's some quests that require her to kill,(optional) and then the desert with the Manticore's where she needs to have a leather protector in order to not get kill from their poison tails. I wouldn't call that combat, Like you see in so many other RPGM games.. But there's requirements that lead to her killing.

But you DO NOT have to equip anything, if you have a supply of knifes and chest protectors in her inventory she will automatically use the items.
Example of his IF Claire has a knife in her inventory at the beginning of the game she can go out to the forest and start killing the pigmen, just walk up to one wait for the dialog and she automatically will slash their throats. You can keep doing this until you kill them all (really no reward) other then revenge for Claire's mother!

I guessing no, anytime there's changes to any RPGM game its almost a guarantee your going to have to start over. With the game in constant change you should really start over anyway with new releases you can miss out on content thats been added to the game. Until at least the Dev has everything down the way they want. And I'm not sure when that will be. 0.14 even 0.13 had changes to the maps, and various things added.

Hello all and welcome to another weekly blog!

Today we're going to be showcasing the newly-completed UI for Claire's Quest, the end product of a huge amount of work by MiNT, Maxxiiee, and Nikki! While all mechanics work the same, the UI visuals have basically been completely reworked for a much more streamlined look that better suits the gameplay. "Fame", originally an intended mechanic, has been removed altogether for now.

Also, as mentioned previously, Claire's UI portrait will respond to her highest attribute, automatically changing depending on it. On the other hand, if all attributes are equal, Claire maintains a "neutral" UI portrait.

Don't fret if you think it'll be too hard to see the neutral portrait this way though! It's actually going into our new title screen for Claire's Quest as well!

Moving along, although we've made great strides in progress thus far, the month of May is coming to an end and we still have quite a lot of work to do. Kudos to Ars as well, for continually working very hard on the tiles and sprites despite much personal turmoil at the moment.

What I might do, is instead first release CQ 0.15 with the 'default' look and the new CGs, as well as the art pack rewards updated until CQ 0.15. Following this, we'll do a limited area release (possibly only the Prologue) of the 'new' look as a sort of beta test to see if there's any issues with the new assets. Once the beta test is done without issue, we'll expand to the rest of the game, and that should complete the overhaul!

CG-wise, with this batch done we have now completed the Fairfelt questline CGs! These are a personal favourite, and I'm happy to see them done! Along with the completion of the CGs there will be significant tweaks of their accompanying text. Following this batch, we now have only 6 outstanding CGs left for existing scenes, which means Claire's Quest will soon have 100% CG completion! Exciting stuff!

We also recently had the patron polls for May to decide what kinks you'd love to see more of - out of 1189 total votes, the highest-scoring poll options were: Impregnation in 1st place, Gangbangs/Orgies in 2nd place, and at a close 3rd we have Sexy/Slutty Outfits. So be prepared to see more of these!

On that note, I'll close this blog with the progress report thus far!
