You realize they make over $10,000 USD per month, right? The developers are trying to justify a $60,000 development cost per update, for what amounts to a handful of random scenes, niche fetish content, and - more often than not - arbitrary and unnecessary remakes of scenes, characters, or entire story acts. With nothing actually resembling a continuation of the main story.I know it's easy to get irritated. But nothing will actually be done. There is no point in getting worked up and it's better to let go. Any attempt to ask on Discord. When is the new patch, why is it taking so long? He meets me with an answer. It is a complicated process, it requires a lot of dedication and work, you cannot rush artists, you have to take into account other people's private lives, why are you moaning so much, because you will have it for free anyway. It's easy to criticize others when you don't create anything yourself. And so on and so forth. Crying and getting angry won't help. You just have to break away from it and come back once a year to check if something new has been created and if there is new content.
All of those 'answers' you receive from the developers are nothing but half truths and empty statements designed to handwave criticism, deflect blame, and excuse a horribly mismanaged product which is, arguably, more of a money-making scheme/scam than an actual game at this point.
The thing which actually needs to happen - and which will make a difference - is for the thousands of patrons to realize they are rewarding bad behaviour and cancel their subscriptions to a dev team who clearly doesn't have their's or the game's best interests in mind (this coming from a former patron who did exactly that).
