I just hope they keep the artist Ganassa. But i kind of doubt that he will stick around for 8 more years. The art now is so much better than it used to be in the begging. Them round asses are magical.

Yeah I gotta be honest, as much as I like Claire's Quest (as it is), the fact that they earn 11.5k a month and is now releasing a patch that basically adds 4 new scenes and some bug fixes after 10 months while others like Messman on The Pilgrimage makes like 4 times that amount of content a month, alone and on a quarter of the budget is incredibly weird.

they build a naive fanbase with good and proper work, and then they realized that instead of finishing a project and risk a loss of income due to being in between projects, or starting a project that might lose them some support on patreon they should just continue on as long as possible.
And so they just milk the ever-living shit out of this project and aslong as their remain dumb-ass people who fall for their bullshit excuses and keep paying them for virtually NO return on that investment... nothing will change.. and trust me.. the entire industry is drenched in this toxic attitude.. and why not? people are stupid enough to fall for it..

Patronizing（funding）is different from purchasing. In the past, aristocrats generously supplied one or many artists to show their affection for the artist's art, somehow also displaying they were "well-civilized", it wasn't necessarily for aristocrats to expect anything back. Conclusively, they obtain a very different motivation from those who want to see more content and make it worthwhile.
Unquestionably, such a "virtue" looks unreasonable in a capitalized world. However, this might be the only way for amateurs who can never make their way into the industry to survive. Ideally, people should never pay for something that hasn't been built, many of us would never consider paying for an unfinished game on Steam. However, such a kinky, sexually violent, incestuous game that is full of bestiality, bloody slaughter, and other "horrendous, depraved, grotesque" scenes would never get money from a publisher to release on Steam. None of such games will get investment, this is a "sinful" genre that has been forsaken by the gaming industry.
This is the actual problem, yet there is no solution. If we were able to find a lot of games like this on Steam, most of us would buy the completed games from Steam, who would bother to come here and keep "waiting"?
This is not the world we choose to be in, but this is the only world we have.

1. There is, though i would recommend focusing on Defiance and Intrigue to successfully avoid those situations and get the scene variations where you successfully fight off attackers. If you manage to avoid getting sent to the Meat Pit in Rathpike or locked up by the noble siscon (forgot his name) in Valos there should be no unavoidable sex situations i believe (barring bad choices of course).
2. Hmm... Kind of? I know futa content is restricted to one island, but there should be lesbian content here and there. The noncon content is all straight though.

1. I don't think it's difficult. After all, this is a game where MC gets banged rather than banging anyone. If you are referring to all MF sexual scenes, I am afraid this is not the game for you, because you might have to ban 90% of the storyline of this game, which all lead to MF, MMF, MMMF, MMMM...MF sex scenes one way or another;
2, a)there are a few paths about lesbian/futa, especially fertility sisters, but they are not the central part of this game.b) And, keep it in mind: this is a deviant game where nothing is classic, like the MC might turn into a spider with a vast and distorted phallus to "bang" a girl (here we go, it comes again), is it lesbian/futanari? or bestiality? monster girl?

8 more years of updates, 2 updates per year, and $10,000 per month: nearly a $1,000,000 price tag for that production schedule of 16 patches. And that's not including the 6 years of development previous, and the hundreds of thousands the developers have earned up to this point.
Do people really think Claire's Quest is worth that much money? Because the state of the game, the story, and the development says otherwise. The devs don't respond because there's no point incriminating themselves any further when people are happy to give them $120,000+ per year with next to nothing to show for it. There's no reason to respect such blatant anti-consumer, greedy, and dishonest behaviour.
I really don't understand why you continue to defend them at every opportunity. Telling people to be "intensely patient" is egregious when you factor in the development cost and the timeline that the devs have 'promised' at this point (reminder that, once again, you can't trust what these devs say: they said they'd increase the rate of updates from 3-4 times a year when they finished Overgrown: Genesis... now we're down to two).
I remember when this was getting an update every month or two. Can't believe people are defending and still supporting the money grab this has become. Getting the same or less content per patch and they are now taking wayyy longer to release. Sad to see this turn into another kingdom of deception.
