Completely forgot this game exists. They sure take a lot of time to draw art... Are they working on something else?

No idea, but it's clear they add pointless updates that goes nowhere to draw out patreon money. Some people will probably meat ride the devs and respond to this, but it's true. 10 years in development is insane. But when you make bank like they do, I guess it's worth it.
What it makes even more incomprehensible is that finished and abandoned their other project "Overgrown Genesis" to have more ressources for this game and now updates take even longer and when they are doppin the have less content compared when they were working on TWO games at the same time.
Maybe it´s my lack of empathy or the devs has other problems (e. g. like a smaller team, illness or real life troubles) but on my subjective but trying to be neutral as it can be pov from outside (not beeing a patreon or such) I can´t understand why updates take so long, espically with the high amounts of backers and money they make! I mean, I with almost certainty bordering probability they could work faster... and if are not able or willing to do that they could at least be able to afford the ressources (human or machinary) to do so.

If they started putting out one update every year, would you say this was a scam? Or would you just say, "At least they aren't putting out one update every two years or something?"
Stuff like this always seemed funny to me. The people supporting these games are essentially paying to fuck themselves over. Just support small devs who are starting out or something. Dunno how people can see themselves getting taken advantage of and not be pissed off.

So your solution is to mark the game complete and we get zero updates and no new content... It's as simple as if you like the game play the game, if you don't move on. If you want and can support then support, if you don't or can't financially support then play the game and talk in thread about the game.
Most titles I really enjoy I don't want rushed to an ending, and this story is somewhat unique in that her life and the twists and turns it takes has no real end in sight but the ride remains fun.
So I will not be pissed of while I am enjoying the title and if people can and want to support I won't be pissed of at them either. If and when I eventually get bored I may leave but having a negative emotional response to people enjoying something they like makes know sense at all.

I love this game and I'm cumming back to play again. It has been a long time. I know some of you are long time players and very experienced with this game. Let me ask you, is it possible for Claire to save her mom? Which path is more fun? Heading for the port (North) or going into Rivermont (South). There is a lot to do in both routes I know and the walkthrough is extremely helpful, but, I would like some opinions as to what players feel. Thank you all.

In the initial versions, there was only the northern route, however, the devs decided to add more content to the prologue and so the southern route was born. If you want to save Claire's mother, you should go through the southern route.
About which route is more fun: I like both, but I prefer the southern route, as it is more rewarding in the long run.

Futa route has you either turn into agressive dom or be a sub to a futa. Why always extremes? Why never sub futas? Why not more wholesome futa content? Any why the disgusting balls on futas?

You didn't answer the question mate. if they moved to an update every year, would you call that a scam?
My solution is to unsubscribe until they get their asses off the couch and work on the game. They're making 10k a month, you think they're gonna quit if the subscribers drop? I would say don't subscribe to the patreon under any circumstances, they already have more than enough to live a comfortable life. They will not use the additional money to improve the development of the game, it'll just go to their disposable income and further disincentivize working on the game.
This game is nearly nine years old and its not even half way done. 0.01% of games are actively in development for this long and not even halfway done. what are even on about with the rushed ending? There will literally be no ending at all, ever.
It makes perfect sense if you're directly contributing to the deterioration of a product I like. It's like a gacha game introducing a new whale mechanic and cutting content, and its player base rewards the game for it. Being pissed at the player base for rewarding scummy business practices is perfectly justifiable.
