does anyone knows how to get out of the Debtor's agreement ?
I can't travel without cheating now, and Im not sure if I'm suppose to be doing that.
I've over 20k, how come I still have a debt?

Ok. For those having trouble recruiting Beth to Claire's Breeding Farm without rescuing her because you went to Rivermont this is what you need to do. After getting the Breeding Farm, you need to go to Rathpike. There are two thieves talking about a score of to your far left when you first get there. Listen in on their conversation. Then head to the underground encampment and work your way to the cellar of the dinner. There interact with the bag and box. You'll get a key and the letter talks about a building with a black roof in Narfu Village. Go to Dagor town (can't spell off of the top of my head.) and pay for an armed escort to Narfu Village. Go to the building in the middle of the village and you'll unlock the door. Go inside and go up the stairs. There's a guard you can either sneak past to the gate at the bottom (need at least 7 defiance to break the lock.) Or you can kill the guard with a knife. Either way make your way to the cell and talk to Beth. Bababoom you saved Beth and as long as you get to the point where you solved the Tannery Killer storyline in the Refuge questline you'll be golden. Talk to Beth at her new home and recruit her to your farm.

I've clocked 87 hours in the game. I chose the easier path, which later splits into three more. I chose the option of the old man who threw me onto the island, and I worked as a prostitute in a toilet. Put it in the Claire's Quest 0.29.1 WIN\www directory. If that doesn't work, go to the gallery and talk to the guy by the ladder. His name is Updater, and he'll do what needs to be done.I also enjoy how we have a weak damsel in distress protagonist because of that when you make a bad decision and she's held down and raped it's way hotter and makes more sense than in most games when the protag can actually defend herself

He should be on that pier. If you are blocked from getting up there, you might need to use the noclip option in the cheats menu to walk around the tiles blocking you.

I am glad that statistics still matter in the game. In some games, they are irrelevant. If you bet on high Defiance and Intrigue at the beginning of the game, you can skip most scenes. Knowing how to use a knife, a stone, trampling your opponent, a shield, or a helmet is what is good about the game. Freedom of choice. You can always sneak up on smaller creatures and use a knife or stones. For larger ones (mercenary tasks), armor is decisive. Additionally, tasks (Rangers tasks) help with animals in the later stages. They are no longer so annoying.

This is actually what got me hooked to the game when I first tried it. I was amazed at how different things could be depending on your choices.
At first I was in for the good art and the H stuff, but then I realized there was more to it and actually played for real. My actual proper playthrough has a badass Claire.
so it seems rivermont is the better choice for the start i thought beth died if you picked rivermont but seen someone mention she doesnt does picking rivermont just keep everyone alive where the coast doesnt?

In Beth's case, if you go Hookton/Coast you can save her by escaping with her, if you go Rivermont you (obviously) didn't escape with her but she gets sold to slavers the Fort commander was making deals with and you can save her when you're in Rathpike.
I think the real difference is Marie and her fiancee (forgot his name). If you go through Hookton you find Marie's half-drowned fiancee (have a piece of fruit in your inventory when talking to him for the first time!) that says they got jumped by a Pigboss and she got abducted, you find her ring, return it to him and optionally convince him to keep living. In Rivermont, if you clear it fast enough you can rescue Marie, but her fiancee is assumed to have drowned up north.

anybody else unable to get drunk no matter how much alcohol they consume? ive drank 70 bottles of gin literally in a row and cant get drunk. tried wine and beer aswell to no avail.
