I had this problem too. Googled around and found that the unzipping was scrambling the file. Downloaded Unarchiver instead and used that. You also have to do the other thing in order to be able to save. You also need to allow the game to open in the integrity.
hey dev, is there like a transcript of the games texts? to avoid opening the game everytime i want to enjoy the pics and texts i saved a copy of my favorite scenes and manually inserted the text into some of them. however it is extremely tedious. and on two rather lenghty scenes i had to restard because bewteen switching screens the text would continue and i had to restart it.

Does anyone have a link to an updated walkthrough for the current version? And is there any information on what the crossed out sections of the outdated walkthrough are, because some of the stuff I can still access (such as Narfu and Dargan) but others I can't (Such as the latter parts of the Thief questline)

Here's my full (i believe so) save. Gallery is fully unlocked. Sub path for sisters have chosen. You can also check quest log to see what's the cuts for questlines for current version.
As for walkthrough, I followed the presented one until end, then just checked changelogs for all more recent versions and proceeded mentioned changes step by step.

People what are you on about the "unlocked" gallery ?
You know there are CHEATS that can give you gold, then go in the gallery, go to the levers and it will ask for a certain amount of gold to unlock all scenes.
1st lever unlocks automatiically after the intro of the game.
2nd lever needs 5000 gold to unloack all scenes. (get close to the lever and press SPACE)
3rd lever needs 15000 gold to unlock all scenes.
Menu -> Cheats -> Increase money > Done
Monster Tokens also cost gold. So just speak with that dude in the gallery and you can buy tokens from him.
With cheats you can also set your attributes however you wish (defiance,Intrigue,seduction and depravity)
So you can view all scenes where cleaire struggles and does not like it/defends herself, or enjoys it like a whore.
Im using the gallery if I want to view some scenes, since in my playthrough Im going for the Intrigue route and im missing a lot of scenes.
No need to asko ther people for save files..... unless there are scenes that can only be unlocked through playthoughs ?

If you exit Dargan Mining Town through the exit on the East side of town, you will find a girl who begins the quest

Can you be more specific? If you mean the mines in Dargan Mining Town, they are sealed off and are accessed through the Shieldmaiden questline which is started by talking to the brothers in Rathpike Inn
I did the shieldmaiden questline but the sealed cave still is inaccessible it has 2 sparkles behind a grated door that won't open

Oh I know which one you mean now, I'm not sure either, I figured it is related to another quest that is either done later or yet to be implemented as I know some stuff was removed and added back in. Let me know if you find out!

You can buy Wildflowers from a merchant in Valos Outerwhere to find wildflowers?
You can defeat the Kraken in one of two ways, without trying to give too many spoilers, both means to do this can be discovered inside the Kraken cave. This can be accessed after following the Mercenary questline until you become a Mercenary, in which case they let you enter to solve the Kraken problem
You can discover her hut in the camp in the Badlands, where reading the notes tells you she tagged along with someone from Valos. I haven't done this personally yet, but I believe the related quest can be started somewhere in Valos which will then lead you back to find her
