Clannad. Man, I remember watching the anime, and crying like a little bitch for DAYS. Shook me up completely. What a timeless classic. Too bad I don't have the heart in me to play this, I don't think I can endure the rollercoaster of emotions I experienced all those years ago.
If you end up here accidentally, do also give the anime a try. Its so incredibly beautiful. Its not all gloom; it has some really funny moments. But it will definitely make you think hard about your life.

hi, does anyone how to get the japanese patch working?

problem is, the patch doesn't work for the 2.x version provided, and I'd imagine it wouldn't for 1.x either. any idea if it's specifically made for the CN SiglusEngine version(and if so I'd appreciate a link)? or is it just user error on my part? I pasted (and replaced) the files provided into the root folder, and I'm not getting any hint of the patch. game's still in english, both UI and the first ~50 or so lines.
UPDATE: friend helped me get it working. turns out it really wanted that CN version. bit annoying to find, but alas. worked more or less without a hitch after applying the patch to it.

(use a translator if needed), you need the SiglusEngine version of the game (at the time only available for CN), whilst EN ran in RealLive.
