That being said, you should know the guitar mini game does work, though it's true that you got lag with every hit due to the game engine and it can be a little tricky at first.

First of all it is very easy to cheat in all the Ren'Py games -> enable console in the renpy/common/00console.rpy file and then we can use Shift+O to enter it.

Some variables for Clockwork Poison:

player.hunger
player.charm
player.exer
player.intel
player.money

However as the dev said - once the mini games are done they can be skipped.

P.S. Poison_Adrian -- Maybe you could overhaul the guitar game a little bit... I mean it drives me crazy (and I am an Level Expert Guitar Hero player LoL)

Funny to hear people are having so much trouble with the guitar minigame, as it was the easiest one to me - meanwhile the library one, that was hell....

Speaking of problems, i met Julia, what opened up a bunch of new things to do...

- Go back to Vic and tell her i met Julia. [I get a "Victoria has nothing more to say in this version of the game" message]
- Ask about Vic's father at the strip club. [Does not appear on map]
- Visit the hospital. [Ditto]
- Learn more about the Train Station. [Ditto]
- Learn more about the Cell Tower. [Ditto]
- Meet Hope at her home. [except now the game gives me a "nothing else to do for now!" message no matter the place, even the store and home!]

edit: just unlocked Train Station & Cell Tower by purchasing the GPS to the car. Also got "River Beach" and "Park".

Except i can do none, at all.

Can someone explain to me what might be the issue, mistake, bug or whatever?
It's very bothersome to be left hanging like that.

I think these kind of minigames that are sensitive to input/display lag can be hard to get exactly right on all computers.

I found it easy, but I wouldn't be surprised it it worked worse on other people's setups. RenPy isn't exactly a rhythm game engine.

That's my guess. I'm sure it'd be fine if the input was able to be controlled precisely but...it's really not. Either that or it's way to finicky for RenPy.

You've already done all the v0.4 has to offer. In fact, if you haven't missed any task, you should have gotten a splashscreen telling you you've reach the end of the v0.4 content and you should not be able to click on any spot in the map now.
That being said, I guess I should add some kind of mark or indication whether a task is available to complete in the current version or not.

Victoria, a girl you end up finding in a road per accident and ends up being a source of info (tasks) related to another surviving man, her father (who she sees as a complete asshole). Their house (only she lives there at present) is somewhat close to the left corner of the map when it unlocks for visit.

If those are the tasks you have in the list, don't worry, you did complete the v0.4.
The fact that you've not gotten the splashscreen might be because either you didn't pay attention when it showed up or some kind of minor bug about it. I'll definitely look for problems in the code

Well, I'm guessing minor bug, as the splashscreen was kind of very attention getting in previous editions, so i feel pretty certain i wouldn't miss it.
But anyway, that clears it up then. Wish you luck with tinkering up stuff for the next version.

I can pass the guitar mini game on my second attempts. but I also agree to able to skip the mini game although player failed at first.

oh, don't forget to change time_of_day to relevant time to repeat the mini game session (gym-strength, library-intelligence & guitar-charm) and also raise your storechance to get more food. it's too much grinding for game with less content atm.
