They actually have. If I'm not mistaken it was actually Brolaren. Try to search their patreon, there is a bunch if people, who worked with shitpurple(and cool artists too!), but left for SOME MYSTERIOUS REASON. Team changed several times. There is always SOMETHING preventing them from adding promised features.
Can't expect much from the dev that stole from the original game. The irony that he left because of stagnant development is just the cherry on top. Actively supporting this game is counterproductive.
I know, I was there during one of the earlier outbreaks when former BreedingSeason team members provided some interesting stories with sccreens. I was there Gandalf, it was 3000 years ago. Now I just reminding that story from time to time so new summer children don't get into that shit trap.
