While I'm not gonna defend their work practices or ethic, 18k a month evenly split between 7 people for a year is like just over 30k
I highly doubt it's getting split evenly between everyone because thats just not how businesses work and your wage'd take a hit if they brought on more people, I couldnt even begin to guess what their payrate is per employee. If they're doing only up to 40 hours a week so they dont run into oveetime issues (if that even applies to them honestly, might not, idk) and they are splitting it evenly it's like $14.80 ish per hour, think thats before tax also. That's less than the minimum wage in California for example. I'm not gonna pretend to know about how much coding and artist work pays but I typically think of them as higher paying positions than what that example gave them.
Now, 18k a month is large for a patreon hentai project I wont deny that, I think it's crazy. I'm pretty sure we saw people put out good games years ago when offbeatr was a thing for an adult alternative to kickstarter, and had low goals from what i remember for a 1 time payment. Doing good porn games on a small budget is very doable, theyve drug this on for way too long at this point and theyve only announced they want the game to be done in 2025. Does that mean they'll take down the patreon? Probably not, they'll likely milk it while advertising dlc theyre working on. Between how much they've made so far and how much theyll make in the next couple years it's practically insulting.

They are like Elon Musk fans. You can prove them that they are wrong and they are only getting scammed (just like Thunderfoot did multiple times), but they are adamant in their beliefs. The patrons are probably laughing at us saying that we are just some salty stupid people who doesn't know shit about shit. And we laugh at them just like back in the Breeding Season era, that they are stupid. Now that we know that everyone is stupid (according to someone somewhere) and that we are all laughing at each other, we can consider the fact that these bs artists are providing a good entertainment for us all. I personally think that instead of Cloud Meadow they should have named the game Milking Season as they milk their patrons out of their money with mere promises and lies.

You're right! At first I thought spurp is from Israel (for obvoius reasons). But then I remember that I read somewhere that he is somewhere around the Russian region, if I remember correct. Also, 30k a year is a dream salary in Hungary (where I'm from), so you are correct! Here the average salary (according to one of the most corrupt governments in the world) is 10650 USD (/year). But in reality, it is waaaay lower. Also the prices of the goods are higher here than in America due to the fact that Hungary is among the top 5 countries with the highest VAT in the world (and has the 1st place among the EU countries). So if you have an ok salary in America, you would be king here. So, how may I serve you your highness?

Ok is there any way to edit the save file? im using savededitonline to edit the json file but when i load the game back up no changes are being made. An example is i changed the upgrade crystals from 7 to 10 and loaded the game still 7 , tried to change the calendar from day 16 to day 1 and loaded the game. no changes done.... am i doing something wrong? is there some sort of hidden backup file im not seeing?

I may have seen this game before, but they change their gaming title from Breeding Season to Cloud Meadow. There was controversial news about their payment from their boss was working on this game to get his share from his payment on Patreon, and then his account got banned or cancelled because it was from the news over five years ago.

Different games. Same artist. Iirc, the original implosion of Breeding season had something to do with the artist also working on this game and the jead dev of Breeding season freaked out. (I can't remember, but there may have been more legitimate reasons for the freakout; the artist might have been missing deadlines or something. I think it was nostly because the games were pretty similar)
That being said, I vastly preferred Breeding Season. This one still has the high quality art, but it's spread too thin. I liked the primary focus on breeding in BS and secondary focus on story vs how cloud meadow spreads it's self out between a bunch of different mechanics that have nothing to do with the hc ontent (farming, combat, etc)

Breeding Season was the original Cloud Meadow. Technically it is the same game with different mechanics, but the creator of Cloud Meadow "Purple-something" stole the concept and money allegedly to start his own project. He was the main artist for both games and reworked the game. There are claims that the creator of Breeding Season was lazy but it looks like Cloud Meadow itself lacks updates, and the "Purple" guy admitted that he spends more time playing Nintendo or Sony video games than working on his own. I don't even know what is going on with Cloud Meadow anymore, all I know is it could never become mainstream and was removed from Steam at one point...How far did they get? Did they fix the lagging. There is a lot of lag in the Cloud Meadow game. Or maybe it was just my laptop...
