Honestly, this whole thing smells like a cop out and him simply looking for an excuse to stop making the game because he doesn't feel like it anymore. The fact that he reached out to Patreon unwarranted to "make sure" the game was okay is odd, and he might have purposefully made the curse sound worse than it is to get a rejection. He also completely ignored the fact, that he could have simply moved to Subscribestar and take his following there, like most banned Patreon games do. Another sign he doesn't actually wanna keep making this.
I'm thinking he saw the return on investment in this and didn't feel like it was worth it compared to the work he puts in his art channel. Half the post is him explaining how he is working too much already to keep both Patreon's alive.
At least he got the decency to stop charges.

I'm confused. What about the curse makes it against TOS exactly? I don't get it. NLT games have you outright drugging women without their knowledge and that's fine, they are on patreon.

For anyone reading this, the TLDR is, Dev got their Patreon account banned and so decided to abandon the game. While also claiming they would like to try VN making again, but not being willing to take five minutes to make an account on any other site and putting the game there.
In regards to their "paying the bills" statement, it is worth mentioning that by the devs own estimates, they would be making about $10,815 USD per month if all 721 of their supporters were on the lowest tier.
