It's a new file, started yesterday. First time playing, ever.
Hearing that something got weird is unsurprising, though. The morning after the tattoo lady fight, my game entered a loop. I had the option of answering my phone (for dad), visiting Monica, or staying in bed. I chose staying in bed, and dreamsculpted the Hills. The stepfather dream played out. After that scene, however, Rio called me to go to Lorenzo's, and that's when the loop started. It was the exact same conversation about hunting the tattoo lady, blah blah blah. I thought it was intended at first - some kind of time travel/time loop thing. But nope, the game just bugged out. Everything played out exactly the same, with the choice of visiting the different professors or Monica/Mrs. Wilson in the afternoon, etc. The nighttime hunt for the tattoo lady was the same as well, except this time, the fight with the tattoo lady was over instantly (the first spell I cast finished it). Then, the next morning, I had the same options as answering the phone etc etc, I chose to answer the phone and dreamsculpt mom and the next proper day progressed as normal. But the game still counted that loop day as a day, I suppose, which is why my game thinks it's Monday. (Side note - I didn't actually go down this path, but on that second morning I checked to see if the Hills scene would loop again, but it was a different stepfather dream. So I guess that progressed properly.)
No idea how this happened.
