How does the old saying go "Absolute Power corrupts absolutely" :WeSmart:
Personally I'm not a fan of that saying. I think a fair number of people would relinquish that kind of power before abusing it. That isn't to say they are incorruptible, but rather they would see the danger and avoid it. If power is like a drug not everyone would take heroin given the chance.

And then there's the issue of boredom. It might not be readily apparent but absolute power would, eventually, result in extreme boredom. It might take several lifetimes of corrupt fuckery but eventually absolute power would become dull. Like playing a game you can never lose. Why play at all?

Can anyone update this mod?
Honestly, I expect it'll be a hot minute. Idk how mRaYM087g4 does the mod, but when I tried to import the html file into Twine 2 to putz around with some of my own mod stuff, it said "There don't appear to be any Twine stories in the file you uploaded. Please choose another file."

I was under the impression that the main character is a blank slate when we start playing, with our choices sort of backfilling who he used to be or what kind of person he is. When you start playing, he doesn't even remember his own name.

Sounds like a compatibility issue. Try importing the game into Twine 1 or converting the HTML file

Funny thing is, at first I thought that wasn't the issue, looked around a bit and thought it might be, and then decided it probably wasn't.

Then I went and got the Twine 1 to Twine 2 converter and lo and behold, it worked. So I suppose I have to thank you, o wise sage.

This game's is great with arguably too many decisions to keep track of but a ton a content which I appreciate.
On a whim one day I went through the image files and found the tentacle porn gif. I have since found the part of the game that appears in but if I hadn't seen it in the files first I don't think I'd ever have found it in game.

I'm still curious how many early game things I've missed because I didn't have the right stats for the option to even show up. Stuff like getting Monica to spank her mom on Day 1. You don't know you're missing it because the option doesn't show up if you don't meet the base requirements.

It's nothing like the varmod, just a small thing that lets you reverse or advance the time of day via the Check Contacts/Phone screen. Anyone could probably do it with a beginner-level knowledge of HTML.

Still, here it is on both .510 and .480 (the latter with the varmod also applied).
I was hoping for the Varmod + Botnet

Sorry blud, gotta temper your expectations. In any case, j_1993_m is right. It may be nowhere near as convenient as the varmod, but for editing there's always the old trusty of either "F12 > SugarCube.state.variables" or something like .

Wouldn't the checkpoint system already in the game be enough if you wanted to go back in time? I don't use it so maybe there's something about it I don't understand. But my impression was you could set checkpoints wherever you want and hop back to those times.

Just used one and so it does. I honestly thought it was basically just an extra save

As far as I remember the integrated Checkpoint has only one slot so you can only return to one time of the Day. I haven't tried Uniform's Mod but if it can change between multiple Time Slots like going from evening back to morning that would be different from the Checkpoint no?

I'm not at my computer so I can't check but I'm pretty sure there are several slots. Again I don't use them but something like 12 slots sounds right to me? Could be wrong.

Creating a checkpoint overrides your old checkpoint unfortunately. What I did is a smidge more versatile in that you can keep going back or forward through the day's time periods (I literally just added buttons that either added to or subtracted from the $time variable).
