Is there any option to permanently gender swap the main character? I've seen the option show up a couple times using brown lights but nothing permanent like you can do to the male characters.

Hi guys, just wanted to quickly ask how exactly do I get Ward to become a lover? I casually searched around the thread and didn't find an exact answer hence asking here. I'm using the cheatrelated setting and checkpoint mod and I've done everything with Ward aside from casting a Contract, Cum Addiction, blackmailing her and making her pregnant and yet when I reach the point you can train apprentices, she isn't showing up as a lover.

Do I have to do one of the above for her to become a lover? Thanks in advance everyone.

I am not 100% on this, but I think you need to increase her lover score as much as you can. Then after the Keera fight/Zahra hunt I forget which one you can visit Ward at the end of the night. If the lover score is high enough I believe she becomes a lover.

Or you might need to go on a date with her but again I am not 100%.

You can't, although G28 has mentioned maybe an epilogue where that happens.

I think the checkpoints might be messing with things, because I haven't had that specific problem. This guide is a bit outdated but should still work for your purposes. Keep in mind that if you get her Slave stat too high (like, say, from abusing checkpoints) it could cause her slave dialogue to proc during events like the pregnancy talk, so that might also be effecting other things.

That's what most likely happened unfortunately... I did visit her at night after the Keera fight.

you need to do a deal with her at the start with money, followed by a scene where u go outside with ur roommate and see her and nadir in a party which will eventually land u in a prompt where you get to ask her to meet alone after all the classes are done, which is where you can reveal your interest in her and the rest comes from that. but all in all the more lover points you have with her the better are the chances but at the same time you cant make her fearful of you aka dont increase slave point much cuz it might make her come to hate u which in turn will just make her a property and not a love interest.

Yeah, I don't know if you missed it but G28 will be porting his games from Twine over to Renpy. I imagine this new game is just to get a feel for Renpy.

As the games get longer, more and more players are experiencing lag between choices due to how Twine is built.

EDIT: G28 is porting PoW first because it's still in it's starting phase, he wants to fix that before it becomes a problem. I think he said CD will get ported when it's fully finished because it's so long.

Ok CD will be finished BARRING any COMPLETE TWINE breakdown. Now as for the checkpoint mechanic and other stuff its likely it could be modded or requested onto it.

If CD is the only G28 project you care about then it might seem that way but not necessarily. He's been doing Patreon side extras for years, there are a few small games exclusive to his Discord.

I'm not entirely sure, I think it does have a built in scene replay but I don't know if it will keep any variable changes.

But as Lord Everhard said, even if that's not the case: the Renpy port of CD won't be until after the game is complete, so there will always be the HTML version to play with the checkpoint mod.

In being a DIK there was a mod that when there were multiple options to choose from it made possible to choose all of them in sequence. This fucked up many flags and in later updates everything was broken. I stopped following that game so I don't know how is it today, but based on it I think a checkpoint-like mod should be possible with also a mod that let you adjust flags here and there.
