nah, the IDL swings out around them so all of Alaska is on the same day. There are parts of Siberia that "should" be on the North American side of the IDL but the skirt it to the east for the same reason. It's not a straight line. Does some other weird stuff in the South Pacific. It's supposed to be at 180 degrees but due to political boundaries (imagine that) gets shimmied around.

Steve dislikes minimizing file size and update will exceed 15gb, so Mega should be out the window. Nopy can be decent but not for day 1; dl speed will drop drastically since everyone will try to download at the same time.
