Charli and Europe. That's when the writers flipped and things went off the rails. The QA has always been bad but that's when the story, QA, and bad decision making seemed to start. They realized everyone went for Nora. Other characters changed drastically (Chloe, Penelope) and the fighting went to the wayside. The numbering system went off the rails and a handful of characters (albeit minor) were just dropped like they didn't exist.

There were red flags since the Europe trip (the drinking, avoiding us), but that fucking Chick election brought out the worst in her (more like piss poor writing and character development). She had the potential to be a great LI. All she does now is shout and whine about sorority matters, when she doesn't ignore us.
Her worst moment is when she doesn't want to take care of the fake baby. Nora is presented as a sweet, motherly girl while Chloe sucks at it and it's not remotely endearing or funny. Nora good, Chloe bad, that's what it looks like. The writers only made me hate my favorite LI. I have zero interesting in playing the game cause I played mainly for Chloe. It's just a bad memory now when it crosses my mind.

You can say she's a nice girl but it's more complicated than that. "Nice people" can cheat when the relationship sucks and even when it doesn't. It's not like she cheated all of a sudden, there's a huge buildup for it as you get closer with her and she confesses to MC that Chris is a terrible boyfriend. When he hit her it was the last straw. Made even more sense that she'll cheat with MC from there.
I played season 1 of this game but due to save compatibility issues stopped it after season 2 and it had reached season 3 if I am correct. but I am now confused to see now there are supposedly ACTS instead of seasons now. Are acts just new name for seasons, will it be enough if I start playing again from Act 1 or I have to play something else first?
Only reason why it went downhill was because one of the writers left, a female writer.
Whoever is writing for her is most likely a dude who never played Season 1, well, before it went to shit.
Well, since his failed "unscripted" game didn't work out, I doubt another game will be the one. If he can't even continue Season 1 of this game without that female writer (since it went to shit once she left) I doubt he'll do better with another game.
He'd have to hire another female writer or just have more females on the team.
I think it was after Episode 3 or 4 of Season 1. I can't remember fully since it's been years since I last played this game. But yeah. I liked the beginning of Season 1. Once it went to shit, I stopped playing it. Didn't touch Season 2 at all.
Steve does have some loyal players because you and others are still around.
That whole election was just a bore. Why the fuck was that even a thing? probably didn't know what else to do with the game/characters so, why not some election drama... yay? and it sucks even more because Steve thinks this is all good.
Does he not care about the characters in his game? because if I was a Dev and saw someone who works for me change up a LI from good to bad, that person would be fired. He doesn't care that much, I guess.

I would rather have some Apes (GO APES!!!) Vs Wolves rivalry. That plot point was completely forgotten. It would have been much more interesting than the CHICK presidency thingy. We had one measly fight at the start of the game. What after that, a couple of random-ass fights that didn't have to do with the fraternities. Where's the hatred between Apes and Wolves? It went in the toilet.
The fighting system was overhauled. It was nice and simple back then. It's a chore now.
What do have: election this, election that, NORA. That's it. Game sucks.

I have the same error, I guess we need to wait until version 5.1.0 is uploaded since it has been reported by other users that they have a bug when launching the game.
I mean in all fairness and reality to that I'm guessing the game essentially "ended" a long time ago for most of the target audience it was aimed at. Maybe they see an update and check in, but for the most part this project has already peaked. With quite a few full payout scenes on pretty much every girl if you've already played through all the content since day 1.
Like at this point and at the end of the day there is only going to be so much carrot appeal a game at this stage in development can bring to the table. Sure, you could load up this game and let's say for example progress to a random BJ #7 scene with my fav girl Nora after having already fucked her like 6 different times now. That of course would come with it's fairly lacklaster animation value, and which for all the success has never been one of this game's strong points.
OR...you can download one of the other endless games you haven't played being pushed out offering a new sexual experience. Which is what I just did. And which I guess a whole lot of other degenerates do anytime these updates pop up with other games on the latest update page that might catch their eye.
Actually in all fairness to what i said above BJ animations scenes, for the most part, did get better in the latter update scenes.
But the slow style penetration sex scenes have always been and remain meh imo. That first sex scene on Nora still tops my list as the most disappointed and let down I've ever been with one of these games as far as superly anticipated payouts go. That I just couldn't fap to that was criminal.

Yeah except she was flirting with you before that and she could've broke up with him but didn't. All of these characters have flaws. Some have stuff thats important to them and others have other things. It's all about how you take things. It's the same with Chloe, if you know what her priorities are from the start, then you get where she's coming from. It doesn't make her terrible. Its just what you're willing to put up with.

Regarding Chloe, no man. She went full bitch only after the Europe trip. We couldn’t imagine such a drastic change would happen during the Chicks election. There was no sign.
