Well the real reason is he did something stupid and that was that CK at that time was in a bad state then he showed that he put time and 'effort' in another projekt(stupid of him but greedy) and that started a hate train and a fear that if unscripted did well that he would abandon CK so it was curbstombed to the ground and also it is not really like CK and it's very and i mean very short.If it was a first(if he didn't advertise it by main patreon) it could have done better.

Wait so what happened?
They were working on new project, so of course update for this game was very delayed, then they announced that "new" project game would make them bankrupt so they had to stop.... but in the same announcement they said that they are already working on another new project?

Is it really so hard to just finish first game AND AFTER that, start making another game?

I see the new version of CKII got an official walkthrough built it, but it seems to not work with other mods. Anyone know why? Is there a way to fix it? I would love to have the best of both worlds! :)

I kinda hope at some point they fix the phone message system. Seems like the bigger the conversation history is the phone slows to a crawl when trying to open conversations or reply to someone.

Can anyone explain the versions? I see that there is an act 1 and act 2 here, are these all part of College Kings 1. I read somewhere College Kings 1 contains 3 acts. If so where can i find a complete College Kings 1 and an up-to-date College Kings 2?

The College Kings ACT 1 in the OP contains all parts of ACT 1.
ACT 2 contains all parts of ACT 2 that have been released so far.

Man, I haven't played this game in eons (the last version on my computer is early in episode 3) and right away, I have to restart, annoying, but I don't mind that too much. Then the cell phone is missing images that, if you click on them, crashes the game!

SERIOUSLY?! All this time and this is still a buggy mess with restarts, rewrites etc?! I'm starting to think I won't bother with Episode 2. Episode 1 was the best one.

Act 1 Episode 1 is still the best because Charcters and writing was good/unique. Act 2 has it's ups and downs and is pretty much more in line with other VN's, but the phone is still there and i hate it so be warned :LOL:.Oh and you don't need to play Act 1 to play Act 2 the have a pathbuilder.Problem i have with this game is it was my first VN so i want to see where it goes and over the years it was very dissapionting aldo it looks like it goes to become better again but my trust in Hypeman is not big so yaeh tresspass beware bugs

I actually deleted all my old saved games and restarted Act 2 from scratch, to avoid problems, and the cell phone problems went away, strangely enough, the missing images magically appeared again, so, I figured, why not. I don't mind playing it again as I DO love the game. I did like how he did it if you restarted it from scratch, with menu options to select whether you had anything to do with the person, which, being the man-whore than I am, I did with ALL of them! LMAO... so... errors aside, it is looking okay again. I was worried I would be plagued with errors again, but, they went away, so all is good again.

I don't use mods, just my own custom mod which doesn't alter the game. I noticed when I enabled developer mode in my mod that there is extra info on the screen, info I normally put on there in my mod, but didn't have to which is kewl. I didn't add in my own mod until I was sure the game would work.

I look forward to playing it again. I may even boot up season 1 and replay it as I loved it. I especially loved the detective sequence on that boat, that was a lot of fun.

Yeah, they lost all confidence from me when they put Unscripted on Steam in Early Access, then promptly dumped it. Won't ever get another dime of my money. College Kings has been a bug infested shit-show for the past few years anyway. If not for Nora, I would have dropped it a long time ago and not looked back. At least Act 1 was half decent. :devilish:
