By the decision to have twenty datable characters with a "something for everyone" approach the dev probably was trying to make sure nobody saw something they don't like and then came back to complain. You say she overdid it with Izzy's group sex scene, I made this memefication about Bai, because on his route are a lot of options to back out too:

All in all it's a learning experience about finding the right balance. I'm sure her next game(s) will profit from it.

I mean is pretty obvious what is going to happen, why put all these warnings like we are about to kill somebody? honestly feels like the dev was bullied by some crybabies with zero social skills that got traumatized by seeing some other dick that the MC's... I mean if you want to put group content in the game own it and don't be ashamed of it, of course, make it clear by the context of the conversation for the people who aren't into that instead of those warning signs like we are going to do something bad...

The problem is that there is a vocal minority in this community that cannot fathom or accept that any male other than the MC ever has had sex in his life, and seeing it (for reasons that I cannot comprehend) sends them into a fit.

In some cases, they can't even fathom that other men exist at all, which is why we get a lot of harem style games where you never ever see another male character...and sometimes they even make up some story where 'all the men left the village' or 'died in the big war'.

I realize there are other men & women in the world of the game. I have even told a few Devs that they are forgetting that fact. I have no issue if MC runs across some other guy and catch that guy banging the crap out of his own girlfriend(or even someone else's girlfriend or wife). Does make me want to steal her from him. But Catching said guy banging one of MC's girls is where I start having problems. Sorry I just don't like sharing that much!!!! But that is just me and we each have our own kinks.

I was very concerned about this scene (rightfully so, because I got absolutely harassed on here for it, and am STILL receiving nasty posts and frequent facepalms about it). Obviously the warnings didn't do any good, and they're just complaining that the scene exists at all, whether they actually watched it or not.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed it. There will continue to be things asking you to opt in to certain content, because I want people to be able to skip the content that they're not interested in, but I agree the warnings for this one were a little overboard and you nailed it when you said it was because I had been bullied into doing it.

Fuck yes! Please! I would really love to have more situations where non-commited characters are having sex with multiple partners, and everyone is cool with it. Having female characters that are strong willed, open with their sexuality, and get freaky with multiple dudes is extremely hot for me.

I love Brandi in this game, and hope that we get to see a lot more of that kind of thing from her. She's awesome. I'm also totally down for a female character who's dating the MC and also fucking her own family because she wants to, and any number of other situations. I don't want possessive MCs. Just single guys who roll with it and have a good time.

Not infuriated that they don't want that, just that many of them absolutely lose their shit and/or quit a game even if it contains that content as avoidable. I never want to force my tastes on someone, so they should accept that people like what they like and as long as it's optional/avoidable, to just leave it be. Anyway, what you quoted me for was replying to someone's reply about the amount of warnings before reaching said content. I think a better solution to that is before even starting the story part of the game, have a setup screen up that says, "Do you want to enable Sharing/Swinging/NTR?" and then use their response throughout to game to either enable or disable those situations.

As for your question about who, I would say have it be optional for each of them...or probably better, there are obviously some characters that are seem to be written to have that sort of personality, (Ms. Welch, Mrs. McGee, Brandi, Tammy). Of course, should always be optional for folks who just aren't into that.

• Izzy sleeps with whom she wants. If you (or other people *cough*Devon*cough*) can't handle that you'll probably not see eye to eye. I always say Izzy is the MC of her own AVN and MC can become part of her casual harem.
  
• Suzy and Tammy are joined at the hip. It is insinuated that they have some intimate relations. Since you cannot just date one of them without the other my guess is that this might become more open in the future.

Don't worry, you're an example how a good(tm) dialogue can happen. It's the people who act like they're entitled to something and go REEE that lead to comments getting removed by annoyed mods.

All those fruitless discussions that led to the "we use the f95 definitions of the tags, like it or leave it" disclaimer in OP. Getting AVN users to agree on these definitions is like herding fleas. And b) there are characters in this game that some will play all the same (spoiler: Gertrude is unhappily married, maybe she's not having sex with her husband after all, who knows?) who you might still want to play, because some walk the fine line that might make you think.

Yeah, that is a good point. Maybe such a setup screen would need to break it down and describe what the game itself is defining as that content so the players can make an informed decision on what they want to enable. I dunno, just trying to throw out ideas

Terrible solution, I don't like foot fetish, but if a character is interesting or has meaningful/entertaining interactions I might want to be able to experience it and I might even indulge in some foot fetish stuff to see it, even if is not my thing, if you force us to choice before even knowing the characters we are just seeing them as kinks with legs instead of actual characters.

Now if you are only talking about adding the setup screen to remove only the specific choices that will lead to the kink in question and not the whole character I gotta ask, do you like being treated like a toddler?, I prefer when the game trust Im an adult capable of understanding social cues/basic reading and presents the choice in a more immersive way, like characters talking about it and giving a nice heads up to see if I want to bail out or not.

If you want porn without plot there are plenty of porn videos on the web, they are 5-10 mins and can be as unrealistic as you want, now this is a visual novel, and the reason I like AVN is because I like to get my porn with a story, and I like good stories, or at least interesting characters. Now, of course there is no need to be 100% realistic, in fact, this game is pretty unrealistic if you ask me, or are you forgetting you are dating 19 women (and a guy) at the same time and all of them are cool with that?, literally zero consequences, now getting mad because 1 of 20 LI's is into sharing sounds a little entitled don't you think?.
