That means the final update may come around june 2025 if current dev time remains constant.
This is true. I'm expecting it a little earlier than that. 4 or 5 months have been what the last few updates have taken, but there were some extenuating circumstances there (death in the family, moving to a new house, getting married, honeymoon), and the next couple updates are not QUITE as big as the last couple have been, I don't think. Updates 19 and 20 might take longer than expected, but unsure right now.
Right now I'm hoping for
17 - March
18 - July
19 - November
20 - March
I think that's pretty doable. Update 20 will finish the story, but I do plan on adding some little filler bits afterwards and doing some cleanup. There will probably continue to be occasional content afterwards, even when I start working on my next game.

real time or game time? 1st is days playtime unless just skips text or goes on solo route, 2nd is 3 weeks or month.

Depends on which of the 20 LIs you pursue. If you are after all of them maybe like 15? 20? hours. Depending on your reading speed.

As someone who prefers having a walkthrough mod installed, I don't think it would help much. Pretty much all the information you need to advance every path is in the character profile screens, including hints about what to do next. Only thing an advanced mod might tell you is how interconnected paths might conflict early on, but only the really good mods do that anyway.
That said, I haven't seen a lot of really helpful sandbox mods out there except the type that just give you information on what to do next, and this one has that integrated already ... even if it's just strong hints instead of saying exactly what choice to make.

As Elhemeer already said, there is not much use for a walkthrough. The pink polaroids get you new content, the white ones don't. Hint for every character is on their page.
This makes me wonder if you actually played the game. What "pdf one"? There is no pdf walkthrough.
The choices "what to say" speak for themself. They are mostly for flavor. If you are about to make a decision that can't be undone, you get a warning, asking you if that's really what you want to do.

Anyways, yeah I spend a lot of time making the hint system in the game. I promise that you don't need a walkthrough. You'll be okay. Just play it.

Update 16 Patron Release.
Hello everybody! Update 16 is now available. I hope you love it and have a lot of fun and let me know what you think when you're finished. Check the changelog for everything that's been added.
As always, if you hit any bugs or find typos or any of that, feel free to comment here to report those, or go onto the Discord and report in the help & bugs channel.
If you played the Beta release last week, I've only fixed a couple of very minor issues here.
Downloads
Here are the links to download the Update normally, which has the DLC already included.
You must be registered to see the links
Windows Installation Instructions:
1. Download the zip file from MEGA.
2. Unzip the file to a new folder.
3. Run the .exe file contained inside.
4. That's it. You don't need to copy over any old files. You don't need to worry about saves. You are free to delete the older version of the game if you downloaded it from here. If you played on Steam previously, just leave the Steam version alone and separate. On Windows, your save files are located under your user profile and are shared, whether you play the game this way or on Steam.
Mac Installation Instructions:
1. Download the zip file from Mega.
2. Unzip file via Archive Utility or any unarchiving program.
3. Run the app inside.
Android Installation Instructions:
1. Download the file from MEGA.
2. Run the .apk file.
3. Give the permissions required.
4. That's it. This will upgrade your app to the newest update.
