Overall you have a good game.
This is one of the best games I have ever played.
For the characters, I think the game developer touched on a lot of diverse characters, and gender diversity, which are embodied from our real world.
But an important question is when will the next update be, because it has taken a long time since the last update.

Yes, it's been a while.
RJ, the dev, is not lazy though, she has her daily #dev-diary channel on the game's Discord server, and for patrons a weekly progress report.

The upcoming update will be "completely different", and simply takes a lot of new coding and new sets to pose, aka a lot of time. She said she thought about releasing it in two parts, but thought it would diminish the impact of the "completely different" feeling.

She is pretty frustrated about the slow progress herself, but as I said, she's pretty open and communicative and is not slacking.
The counter for new content (code, writing, images, animations) is at 86.7% as of today. When it hits 100% usually it takes another few weeks for bugfixing and alpha/beta testing.

So while she was aiming for a late Spring (late May) release, the current ETA is late June/early July.

I'm guessing that update #20 will have many epilogue endings so MC can marrysingle LIs. Some of them already have told MC they aren't interested in any kind of long-term relationship - Gertrude, Rhonda, Eden - and Suzy&Tammy will probably get a throuple ending.
