probably prologue+8 episodesHey guys, I just started playing this game, and it is awesome! But a quick question: In the changelog, it says chapter 9, but inside the game, it says EP 8. Why is that?

Typo mistake more than likely it's chapter 9

It was a typo in an early release of chapter 9 but should have been fixed for the later release.

What I like this game the most is that the concepts are original. Like, the Dark Ones of this game are entirely of their own genre and not copies of Elves or Dwarfs.

the animation in chapter 9 was better compared to the previous ones hope you keep that up. And also in future kindly think about giving the option to be dom/sub to a LI......for eg I remember that with arsael and emma there was no avoidable femdom option which means you see it or u dont.......but later on there was also a dream scene with claire where you gave the option to be dom or sub and believe it or not it is HIGHLY appreciated by many players.
Anyway keep up the good job.....I would like to support the project in the future.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to give you an update on my progress with Chapter 10. Right now, I’d say it’s about 70% complete! You might be wondering: if Chapter 10 is 70% done, where’s that “half chapter” I mentioned? Let me explain.
As usual, I aim to include at least one NSFW scene in the first half of each chapter. But here's the situation: Atemsiel, who animated the Noel scene in Chapter 9, unfortunately doesn’t have the time to work on Chapter 10. I hope that might change down the line, but as of now, it’s just not possible. So, I went on the hunt for a new animator and found a talented one who’s currently working on the animations for Chapter 10's first scene. Naturally, animation takes time, especially as we’re still getting familiar with each other's workflows.
While Atemsiel and I are good friends outside of development, my new animator and I are working together for the first time, which always requires a bit of adjustment. That said, I’m really happy with the quality of his work so far, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you when it’s ready. For now, though, this means that Chapter 9.5 has a slight delay as we finalize these animations.
In the meantime, I’ve been working hard on the rest of Chapter 10. So, Chapter 9.5 is shaping up to be about the size of Chapter 7 or 8 (unlike Chapter 9, which ended up bigger than I’d originally planned). Even though I’ve been aiming for smaller chapters, Chapter 10 is on track to be almost as big as Chapter 9.
So, thanks for your patience—I’m 99% sure Chapter 9.5 will be ready for release in November!

Yup, I'm just passing info from Patreon. Although I didn't know about Berkill's preference about not sharing it here - did something happen, coz I see there are updates posted in the thread and dev has a profile here on f95?
