by the way, the dev is struggling to find an animator at the moment and i think its kinda impressive that this didnt lead to him skipping out on animations in this chapter and still somehow managing it. Tbh there were even animations in this half-chapter which could have been cutted but he didnt, props to him for that.
And the delay of him needing to find an animator did lead to him just continuing developing anything else so this chapter is bigger
Regarding animators, I am not sure how effective would be to advise here (F95), but I have seen other people quest for collaborators. Off course, there are other website that it is all about job search/recruitment (e.g., LinkedIn or Indeed), but I am not sure you can advise this kind of games in there?
Yea if im not mistaken invader garry came in clutch for this episode. Hes definitely a really good animator! i mean you can still advertise it sorta. You just dont say its for a AVN. LOL but yea idk. A forum post here is not a bad place to advertise it if you think about it.; With all the traffic the thread gets its not too terrible to advertise here lol. If i was an animator i totally would volunteer BUT i cant even draw a stick man that well.... NOW if it was anything to do with code id volunteer in a fuckin heartbeat LOL

"I will take scene over animation any day". (c) dev of AVN "Superhuman", similar in nature, more older and more highly rated, similar in temp of development and almost without animations. I think Berkili4 should take thing or two from WeirdWorld's book in that regard. Less animations, more scenes.
I have to disagree with you. The animations give these novels a bit of spice and give them a nice flow. I am not just talking about spicy scenes either. Fight animations like the one in this novel where the MC fights the sword slaves help to put the novel on a higher level. I appreciate the extra effort, time, and dedication it takes to make something special rather than just making something quickly or making something long. After all, anything worth having is both worth waiting for and worth working for.
i have to agree with gamer. Well use Eternum as an example for this. If Eternum didnt have the animations it has it wouldnt be as highly rated as it is. Like i i play a game and its got no animated fight scnes and its just a slideshow the entire time its less exciting to me.

Yes I agree, good animations make the game more lively, of course those have to be well done and in the right places and engaging and that is why the dev is looking for one since I guess they can't deliver by themselves the quality in those animations they aim for this game.
The story is good and other departments of the game also but the animations and features that make the game more "alive" and is that tiny edge that makes me put CoD in a similar level than other games in my signature, it would be still a good game without them but not tier S for me.
Lets just hope dev find a good animator for the next update.
Another thing i really like are the new girls.
Usually i quickly get annoyed when harem avns keep shoving more and more girls onto us without developing them properly but i feel like berkili hits the balance just right.
Jacky being back and Bridgette being new/returning LI's are both awesome and i cant wait for more content with them. Kinda hope the girl who wanted to date mc but not just have sex with him when he had his coffee job comes back too.

Ya its cool how he does the LI and the one times people. Its not overly excessive like some games, but its not like everyone throws themselves at the MC. Its more natural. Like there are those that do, but its rare that that happens. In most cases you have to build the relationship with them.
To be on that level you really have to have the animations. Bringing life to the novel is a perfect way to describe what animations do for them.
I agree. The characters in the story feel natural and not like they just exist for convenience or just to push the story foreward. They feel like they belong because they are introduced well.

Guys. I'm not against animations per se. I'm not against their obvious attractiveness. I just wish they will not be a boulders slowing struggling dev. I wish more frequent updates. That is just it. If dev manages keep up with decent schedule, with animations, i'm fine with it. It is just seems for this dev every next update is going to be farther than previous. Just for sake for animations. Just as in mentioned Eternum is. So i suggested to abandon animations.

It is your prorogative to suggest it, I suggest otherwise. I suggest to keep making them but always in the right places. Regarding updates schedules, doesn't bother me at all. I never lack good AVNs to play (probably people that just play this to fap lack it, if people take time to enjoy the stories never lacks games to play, not saying you are one that does that but some do and complain) and I'm picky on quality overall and good animations and in the right quantity and quality are a plus for me, make the game more alive, specially in a fantasy game like this one.
Most the times gap between updates get stretched because this aren't kinetic novels and branching make the updates longer as updates go on, it is normal, will need more scenes, more variations of dialogue in the scenes, more coding, more testing to make sure there isn't many bugs and that each path and variation runs like they should, etc etc. I'm surprised people don't get this, its common sense. If they keep a similar amount of animations per update it isn't the animations that will stretch the gap for sure.

i mean this update wasnt even that far behind if i recall if it was at all. Its not like the dev was idle during that time either. Berkili was writing The script for it and doing other things so. and we got an even bigger chapter than even chapter 9 and 10. In fact i almost wanna say that the half chapter is the size of chapter 9 at least almost (i dont have exact figures) .
Edit: okay i see he did stat it was delayed, but the chapter will b on par with chapter 10 for size most likely. So practically 2 chapters worth. As somonewhos played the half chapter i can say without a doubt its gunna be a big chapter. i think theres like an hour + content? not sure i wasnt paying attention to the time. So by time full release maybe 2-3h ?not sure exactly but ya
