Ren kinda comes across as a bit of a control freak and somewhat insecure to me. I don't think she'd well tolerate his powers very much even if she was kicking his ass.
Having said that I really doubt the whole Clara/Ren thing will be resolved within one update. Gotta keep us on our toes.

I mean getting his body obliterated doesnt really count as a loss/being defeated for MC at this point, i guess thats still kinda easy esp considering how cocky/indifferent he is. He lets some thugs shoot him down with a shotgun just for the lols after all

Even gab while bounded to nael allowed matt to "kill" him a few times, they are just cocky little assholes :LOL:

I doubt it will be resolved fast either but i honestly dont care that much, clara will be fine and even more powerful afterwards, i would prefer to finally get a conclusion about the gabriel/nael cliffhanger. Afterwards i wouldnt mind spending some time with bridgette, Jacky, Emma and of course Noel before we get to a Clara resolution :LOL:

And i really like clara (i know it doesnt sounds like it lol), but 1) she will be fine anyway and 2) its pretty cool to have eda around for a while :LOL: (sorry clara)

Nah I really like Clara and I agree. A bit of adversity is always good, and way too rare in the harem genre for that matter.

Do you really think Nael cares that much? Besides, she's too busy worrying about Gab right now. She might just kill Unus herself but I doubt she'd interfere with the MC's dilemma. Besides, even if she does like the MC, which it seems like she does, she'd probably rightly figure that he needs to settle this himself on his own strength if he's to grow into what he needs to be.

No, I wasn't considering a situation where Nael activly steps in. I agree that she really doesn't care about Ren or what she happens to be doing. Ren is irrelevant to Nael. I was imagining a situation where the MC goes to ask Nael for advice, goes for a visit, or something like that and Ren follows him into her realm.

I think Nael cares (yet hides it) but youre right anyway, most of the stuff happening seems to be designed as a trial for the mc and noel. Nael could carry them through everything but she will be fully gone from this world at some point and MC/Noel have to be stronger when that happens which they wouldnt achieve without obstacles.

Its already still a little bit like that as it seems that Nael just reboots the world whenever MC/Noel fail and now with amy being pregnant the MCs personal wellbeing is even more in Nael's interest which already makes me feel that nothing could really happen to him (but i think thats fine anyway in this story).

And how lame would it be if Nael simply tells every enemy to stand down or kills them from now on? :LOL:

I wouldnt mind the MC/Nael rubbing it in after they defeated ren tho

Nael cares for sure but i don't believe she's hiding perse, Noel got most off her good traits so its probably something along the lines Nael no longer being able to express herself in a way that seems caring or more positive. due to giving those traits to Noel

Its hard to say, everything is in degrees or percentages with nael lol, looking how cuddly she was with gab i would argue against it. She may have given dunno 80% of her empathy to nael but who knows how much 20% nael empathy are if that makes any sense :LOL:

Imo its more related to being eternal, everything happening is just such a miniscule occurence to her and she experienced everything countless times already i imagine.

She created the dark ones in a lore where dark ones once ruled a (very modern and civilized) world and got overthrown (because she let it happen) and everything about it is forgotten as its so long ago (and the pact is there). And thats just what we are aware of.

Its reasonable that nothing really throws her off or worries her too much, only the things which are unique aka gabriel and now amy being pregnant. Thats the occurences where she really showed initiative and self-interest.

Which is another point, Nael seems INCREDIBLY selfless.

Shes almighty and somewhat omnipresent (if she wants to) and yet is not abusing it or has any ambition for personal gain. The only "selfish" things she seems to want are Noel's uprising (which isnt really selfish) and gabriel. And despite that she sacrificed her bond to gabriel as he asked her to.

Nael says she did (to Noel, who then relays it). But given the level of power Nael has, I'm not convinced that the lore we have is what happened, but rather the story Nael wants to tell. Everything about her power tells us she could copy those parts out. And we saw Noel catching up to Nael, suggesting Noel is a lot more than Nael has let on.

I'm not sure if the story is deep enough for that to pan out, but we've already had far too many inconsistencies arise around these sorts of things, so when the inevitable plothole lands and people get mad, it'll probably be the reasoning.

This is absolutely true. The story even explicitly says as much when Noel went ferel (screenshot below). I have absolutely no doubt that Noel is capible of attaining the same power as Nael. In fact, she may already have that kind of power but she just lacks the self confidence required to use it. To impose her will on the world unilaterally with no one capible of ever stopping her would require Noel to have rock solid confidence in both herself and the decisions she makes. We have seen that she lacks that kind of confidence and it is possible that lack of confidence is what holds her back from reaching her full potential.
