Hello everyone! I come back to this thread to announce that I will now be embarking on a new creative project, this time I won't be doing it alone (so I don't get overwhelmed). The idea is to tell a somewhat different Netorase story, a story heavily focused in different roleplaying scenarios. If any of you are interested please feel free to visit the development thread. popular as in there being many phone DM games? because they're insanely easy to make
popular as in lots of people liking them? i don't know, they're so bad. there's only one phone DM game I play consistently that I consider to be good, everything else is so trash

Not that I dislike phone games but with Ai it is easier to generate portrait images (Since most models are trained that way). At least that is my theory.
That being said Good luck with your game. I am really looking forward to playing it. The images look great.

Yeah, but almost all of them do good in regard of the stream of people playing it. I mean, I get it, there is some sort of realistic immersion in what regards you talking to a girl through a phone. It just works...

Thank you, I'm really enjoying yours man. I was following your Dev Thread when you still had the old style. I'm still having trouble with consistency, so maybe our art style ends up changing too, but I have a really good art background so I can more or less edit every image I get.

I am guessing maybe we underestimate the number of people who play using phones and playing a phone DM game via it might make it immersive. I have heard that shybox's is decent (have not played) but the rest look pretty bad.

Consistency is very hard. That is the reason why I use a more sprite based system. I regret not going Daz 3d a little because there is so much variance, but I wanted a more anime art style.
I have no background in art, but at this point I am having to learn. All of the images need manual editing and I might have to purchase a drawing tablet going forward
. Right now some images takes me around 2 hours to edit, my OCD is partly to blame.

Hahahah, at least is good to know I'm not te only one on that boat. I'm learning to not be too obsessive with the results, but yeah. I suppose the variance will be there either way. Are there any games, preferably RPGs, that have a sorta more casual or open-relationship type vibe? Somewhat specific but I mean games where your partner will have casual sex with other people and the MC can peek on them and instead of being sad he's like wow damn my wife is hot.
Kinda thinking in the vein of that Amor Magic Academy game but without the forced NTR.
