The Successor seems promising for those who like a more dominant / in-control MC, all the details are in dev notes. I've only played ch1 and I like it so far.

Recently read Netorase Sword Princess and found it to be an absolute banger, but unfortunately it went on an indefinite hiatus. Are there any Japenese/English novels that come close to it?

guys help me finding a game ( rpgm ) you are a noble child, your castle got attacked so you run away with your mom and sisters ( i think there were 2-3 sister) into the jungle. there you will meet some goblins and you can defeat them to join your group. i remember the early scenes like some gobs forcing their way to your mom but you can make them go away or let them do it.

I feel like AI has made making these games too "easy" and as a result we've gotta more than we use to have, but much worse quality. Some of them have been great, the one above being a great example, but I feel like we've missed out on some much better games if devs couldn't have taken the easy route.
I don't think it's a choice between using AI art or making a game with proper art. I think it's more of a "make a game with AI art or don't make a game at all". Like piracy isn't a choice between buying a game or pirating a game to play it, but rather pirating a game to play it or not playing it at all.

What's missing most of the time is good writing though, let's be honest. Maybe I speak for myself, but I think I could tolerate something close to stick figures, if the writing, story, characters, pacing, was good. I don't mind AI generated pictures, nor DAZ3D-slop, nor those weird Japanese 3D Coconutsku games, but if the language or story isn't up to par, I simply can't get into it.
There are a couple of games out there now, heavy with sharing, but it's so obvious that the author's grasp of the English language is severely lacking. I just keep reading and reading, wondering where the story is going, and eventually it dawns on me that what I've been reading for the last five-ten minutes is supposed to be teasing and sexy. But there's not even a crumb of eroticism anywhere. Just aliens making exclamations to each other.
I'd tell them to use AI to write the dialogue for them, but I've chatted with a few so-called "bots" and they all eventually turn into the same personality-less entity.

Yeah you can't compare a game like seeds of chaos to an AI generated Netorase for sure.
but let's be honest if you compare it to a lot of RPGm games with shit tier drawings it's much better, specially the better ones like shadow over ambition and my new gf.

There aren't many sister sharing games but here are a few.
Dreaming of Dana is completed and the sister is your main love interest in the game. In one of the routes you get in a swinging relationship with another couple. Its a whole route and there is a good amount of content.
Sins of the Night Has Sister sharing but sadly not much content yet. Still worth a play. The Dev also completed a game so there is a good chance that this game gets completed too.
Golden Mean There a two Sisters and you can share them with your dad. There isn't much content yet.

By the way, I had to remake the heroine's appearance, but I think that she looks way better than before, what do you think?
Now, content wise I would say I have the intro part almost finished. It should take around 1 hour, and it's not an hour of just dialog, but fully scripted scenes and some gameplay.
But I must admit, I focused too much in the art, the scripting/scenes, the maps/pixel art, etc. And almost completely left the gameplay part aside
. Stuff you would expect from a decent rpgmaker, like npc's routine, day/night cycle, and some sort of progression system and structure... Because honestly speaking I'm not quite sure how to proceed... I mean, I guess in part I do, cuz I've made a big chunk of the next part, but I'm still struggling fitting everything together ... IDK, I don't want to write an essay.So maybe I'll release a version soon, so that I can start receiving some feedback... Maybe I'll make a developer thread, and of course, look at other games for inspiration/reference.
