I finally played The East Block, a very appreciated game around here.
It was a good experience so far, but I probably didn't enjoy it as very highly as most people.
The main + for me are the visuals. The fmc is genuinely cute, one of the cutest ever. Even her facial expressions when showing different emotions are quite good tbh.
The plot is kind of generic but it doesn't bother me in a erotic game, as long it's well made. You have apparently some meaningful choices (I hope they are at least), like cheating with the mother.
My only problem, is that I think it's a waste that the author prefers to put that couple in endless improbable situations (in which the fmc has to ask for mc's validation for everything, it's involontarily comical when she's on her phone while doing lewd stuff outside), sometimes dangerous situations with perverts, dirty homeless guys, even at work etc... and it never occurs to them they can just ask a male friend (or at least someone who seems safe on dedicated websites) so that Kathryn can play with a different dick at home without as much worry. She seems to be always opposed to do perverted stuff anyway (maybe because it's always dangerous...). After MC went to jail I felt like something finally happened and she became obsessed with sex too, but no, it's like the dev backpedaled right afterward and we were back to (almost) square one. The MC even seems to agonize over his kink, as if it was some kind of curse, well they should just stop if it makes them so unhappy...
That's the angle I didn't really like. Don't get me wrong, some scenes were still hot, I had a lot of fun. But I would have prefered 1. a Kathryn with more agency, less "innocent" (personal taste) 2. safer but lewder situations before going full degeneracy with the street old pervert (even if it would be fun too at some point), meet normal people, ask them, have fun. 3. a less dramatic MC regarding his kink.
I hope more stuff will happen with the sister (and the mother, just for my absurd dream scenario, a harem with the 3 girls of the family which you allow to fuck most of the male cast lol, just kidding (maybe)).
