Word of advice you should use a program called Lossless Cut when merging. I combine some of the videos from the source and when I use the program it combines the files and doesn't touch anything else. My files end up being smaller than yours. You can probably simplify your merging with the program as well.
I second using Lossless Cut to merge w/o re-encoding to both save time and to prevent potential loss of detail. However, keep in mind that the files you merge need to have the same parameters (FPS, resolution, etc.). So you can merge the different main parts together or the loops together, but not main parts (1080p) + loops (1440p) because the loops are higher resolution.
