For those who got stuck, in the apartment scene with Gal, my solution was to play version 17d using the gamcore page, the same thing happened to me, load your game, before entering click to activate the event. and then, when you get past the start of the scene, save the game to the desktop and load it into the updated version.

17b is the base game, you can upgrade to 17c and play. play as long as you get all scenes with gal gadot (home, shop, vacation etc.) because with 17d these scenes are not available anymore. then upgrade step by step.
