I've also noticed that this asset pack was featured in the game:

The cool thing about this one is how the red channel of vertex colors seem to be used to switch between two PBR textures. One for the cave's ground and one for the walls.

If it works, it works I guess. While I'm most certainly not against devs using these packs, I always find it interesting when it's this easy to notice/spot. Besides, there's still plenty of work involved when it comes to setting up your level ect. Prefabs are handplaced to make a unique looking corridor or tunnel. A particularly nice example of this is the game Oedo Trigger. It uses Catstudio's "Bamboo Road Map", I think "Japanese Street" from Art Equilibrium and Edo Factory's "Japanese Village Kit" But uses them in a way that makes the levels using these unique looking.

What should I do at the third level? The compass points to a dead end, and none of the other corridors lead to that direction.

Edit: so, huh... I actually finished the game in under15min, but if feels like i'm missing something.
What about those modern looking rooms we can see in the screenchots and the multi armed monster? Never encountered those.

if i remember correctly they spawn if you take too long on a level, as for the rooms some of them seem to be on game over scenes
