I've been trying to update my mods with thumbnails for the photoshoots and vids. I know it's only cosmetic but the question marks in the gallery were bugging me and I want to improve my mods.

But for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it, and I couldn't find the solution in the Google doc guide.
When using the thumbnail tool in the main folder of the game it starts converting ALL folders, and when I try the tool in the modding tool folder and apply it only on the folders I want, nothing seems to happen. I'm obviously missing a step somewhere but I can't figure out what it is.

I think you could just move everything not your mods out of the game folder temporarily and try to make the thumbnails that way.

It goes through all the girls/mothers in the base game and "_mods" directories. It should skip videos which already have thumbnails, what do you mean it starts converting ALL folders?

Okay, interesting concept. I just wish it would be possible to rename characters so that the girls and mothers can have the same last name at least.

1) Think of it as stepmoms
2) You can. If you go in the mothers folder (either game/mothers or game/_mods/mothers) you can change individual mothers names by changing their mother_config. WARNING: I wouldn't recommend doing that in the middle of a game. You will need a fresh start.

Yeah, I know...but it's a bit late for that now.

Edit: Okay, funny enough the game is actually capable to transfer the last name of the daughter over to the mother IF the mother doesn't have one. So deleting all the "last_name:" lines from the config files for the mothers means, they automatically take on the last name of their daughters, even if they are randomly assigned.

I got the expansion pack earlier for this one to see her event vids, but for some reason her home events never tricker, I can do the events around town when I get a green dot on her for them, or when standing in a location she has event for and check phone, then there is a yellow dot indicating she has an event and it can tricker if I call and invite to My Location.
However no dots for her home events at any time or day?
When going to her home to have a dialogue with her, no events to choose either? Tried that in case the dot on phone thing wasn't working correctly.

Yeah, the problem was me. I got confused when the program started and I saw something like 13000 files being processed. Didn't realize it just skipped the ones that already have a thumbnail. Seems to work for me now, just updating my mods and then I'll reupload them with the thumbnails and some extra stuff.
