Lol dude see there are 2 types of people on this thread the one who like the game irrespective of its few shortcomes and the one who doesn't like this game doesnt matter even if the developer develop the game as per thier requirement right..Now if you see very closely both sides of people doesn't like your trolls. You have your opinions I don't mind (Or on behalf of others we don't care), but other one has their own opinions...You don't have to convince each and everyone on why your opinion is the right one by giving 10000 reasons and trolling their replies to death.
I am just saying filtering his own fanbase is not good for him. Now there are 3 kinds of supporters in here:
1. Who like the story and want to support the developer...They will do it.
2. Those who think that their opinion matters in the story, they will subscribe to him no matter if the story remain unchanged irrespective of people opinions.
3. Those who doesn't have the money to support but they do like the game and wait for public release irrespective of whether the game is leaked or not.
In all these 3 categories ,....even if his own fanbase leaks the game, it will not change his membership count. Doesn't matter if he wanna run his membership on a strict way by filtering leakers or not.
The first thing that you and the developer should learn on MBA is customer or client is god..so he should respect his own members..if someone is disrespectful or hateful to his community people and recieve complain then sure he can sort it out / remove them...But if they are friendly and he is treating them this way then I don't see any substantial growth on his membership even after 3 years. Mark my words, he will not cross 1000 paid membership count mark on his patreon even if he will spend next 4 years on development of this VN by filtering his own fanbase and thinking that his own fanbase are responsible for low membership count on his patreon becaue of leaks. It's easy to play blame game and put blame on others for the game failure, it's hard to recognize his own fault. I think both of you need to do double MBA on customer relationship management to learn how to grow a better customer/client relationship just a suggestion.
