I was expecting the story to change my mind at some point. It hasn't. Alan and Clara are NOT married. They have absolutely nothing in common. Not even some minor habits that inevitably rub-off on each other during cohabitation.
Another point of contention are the "reasons" why nobody tells Alan what's going on. Not his friends, not his enemies, not his family... What the fuck? He has a whore wife, a bad mother, and evil coworkers. And he himself is dumb as a brick. What is he even using his "prodigal hacker" abilities for? How many spoonfed hints that he doesn't follow up can one man take, for pete's sake? Did his agency neglect his training?
Or is he actually X??
I mean, honestly...."We should fuck his wife, but he must never know !!!" . Why? Do they all fear his wrath? Is he gonna hulk out, break the world? What?
Leon in particular. Clara would definitely hook-up with him after divorcing Alan. Even her boss...
