Well your gonna be shit out of luck, the guy she keeps talking to is gonna make sure she gets put in certain situations just so Leon can show up like sum saviour. They've planned all this out just to screw with Alan, and she can't see it. But shell figure it out in the end after they've humiliated Alan, and after they've ran thru Clare. I think you'll prolly be able to let Alan forgive her, but she'll decide to walk away from the relationship to keep something like this happening again. She'll prolly be allad at herself for letting herself get played, at the same crushing poor Alan's feelings.

So nice to see someone having the same perspective, just that:
1. It's not that vanilla games aren’t necessarily boring because they’re predictable. The issue lies with many indie games - they’re often crafted by individuals who lack real-life dating experiences, so they lack the essential elements that make the romance believable.
2. I also like the direction you mentioned. Sadly, few games truly explore it. Corruption is often portrayed as a one-way street - a linear descent into darkness. So it feels refreshing because it challenges the norm. What if we have Clara ultimately come back to Alan despite being broken? Will Alan forgive her?

My issue isn't with cheating. It's with how it was implemented.
Wifey behaves out of character.
Author, instead of making us guess whether Leon's a bad guy or not right until the end, makes him show his true colors a few updates in.
It's like Wachowski bros(or sisters, put it the way you want) showing us that Neo's a chosen one in Matrix 10 minutes in.
Instead, they gave us reasons to doubt - him getting caught by agents, him failing the jump.
So right until the 3rd act and Smith showdown you keep guessing "what if he's not the chosen one, huh?"
This update, if we keep drawing parallels with Matrix, was like having Neo beat up an agent right after taking the red pill.
Maybe my expectations were too high. Dunno)

Like I said earlier in this thread, as soon as I see "Would you like to see the scenes from the wife/gfs pov as well"? All tension and mystery goes straight out the window, and you should know exactly what you're playing.

Mainly because the NTR isn't the end of it.
It's all in the description and dev notes. The MC doesn't have to lose, he can win back his girl or pick the other.
Anyone with any common sense knew Leon was shifty the first time he appeared, it was painfully obvious what he was going for.
This is it. NTR is not the end here but the beginning. Just from the cover image even a 5 y/o kid can see that Leon is the big bad wolf. As someone else said corruption need not be a path of no return. You can make choices to escape before its too late or fix things that are broken no matter how hard it might be.
There is also another love interest and we have yet to see her in true form. We already got a glimpse with how she had a small verbal cat fight with Clara which made me look forward to even more.
This. Really. Leon is giving thay fuck boi vibe at the start. Its like the boy your girlfriend told you not to worry about just to find out that when you and your girl fought, he just popped in and he be like "if i was him i wouldnt treat you like that".
But to be fair, clara is real stupid for her life choices. Supposed to be a slow burn only to get fucked by disney aladdin after a few update
I mean, really? You're in a long term relationship, loved each other, then decided to get fucked instead of talking things out like an adult. Really. If alan wasnt a cuck in which he is, he'll tell clara "look bitch! I drink too! But i dont whore myself to my partner's nemesis!"
And clara be like "but i saw you kiss her!" Yeah! I know it was a mistake but they could talk things out n shit. Why it led to that and so on. But anyway, her getting fucked like that dont do justice. Or it was just me expecting too much from the game like bruh.. it reminds of me that "pornhwa" titled illicit love. Everyone hates it even the NTR lovers because of poor writing and execution.
Anyway, the ship has sailed, there is nothing we can do about it but i hope next update wouldn't just be a mindless fuckfest of episodic porn
Things are just building up at this point. I would say pick whatever choice you want as the game aint that far enough for those choices to build up and have significant impact. Cuz the only scene that would differ atm is if clara gets punished or not via app

She was suddenly thrown into a blackmail scheme where she was helpless to fight back but endure. She had to humiliate herself and go through mental distress of having to betray Alan to protect him. But she couldn't ask him for help and instead his actions only made it harder for her even though she knew he had no idea.
All along she felt alone and cornered but only Leon was there to hold her up. She already started doubting her relationship with Alan and after seeing Alan kiss Anna, it broke the camel's back. It wasn't like she could barge in and stop Alan when she was drowning in her guilt of having betrayed him first. That would only show her in a worse light.
She might have been planning to talk it through while getting drunk. But Leon showed up in her most vulnerable moment and he took the shot and it was a critical hit.
It doesn't matter how slow or fast it was when the heart need not necessarily consider time as the most important factor to influence a person. I have seen people fall for their heart's desires in lesser time.
Honestly, I was waiting for her to get NTR so that the story could start for real. Why wait 1, 2 or 3 years just to see her get NTR when we know it already happens. We know what happens when something is dragged on for too long, a very dangerous symptom for almost every slow burn games. But its almost been 8 or 9 months and I am satisfied with how slowburn it was.
I am only now looking forward to what is to come next.

It wouldn't surprise me if she was the one doing the blackmail. She wants Clara's man and i'm almost 100% sure she's going to go to great lengths to get him even if that means completely screwing over Clara.
She's let the mask slip a couple of times. Only briefly but enough to show she's practically Leon's female version.

Wanna bet the other girl will get fucked too (if not already, haven't played any recent updates)? It's a NTR game. If any NTR game dev even attempts to write an MC winning in any form, we'll probably lose them from spontaneous combustion. They just can't do it.
This dev has been pretty honest about what they consider true betrayal. You can have any girl on here being a shameless ganbgang slut and as long as they rationalize it with "b-but I still love him", they haven't betrayed MC. That pretty much implies what they consider win for the MC.
