Good update, but feels rushed, and thus damaging to Clara (or I guess the deadly agent is supposed to be weak-willed): we don't get a choice in her having sudden resolution to stop playing honeypot (when discussing new tasks with X) - nor when she decides to play one afterall in photoshoot, making that whole debate meaningless while the dev a bit lazily sets up the whole mole angle (because she needs to pick leaking files over seduction for the MC to have his choice in the matter). Just seems sloppily padded.

Alan is very compatible with Anna

Is he though? He's a family-oriented milk-toast kind of guy, who clearly is compatible with his wife, as after living (and working) together they're on the same page regarding the future, while Anna is just a girl with hidden obsession he seems to be viewing as any other outwardly nice gal.

I mean, firstly, that is the whole premise of the game - while engaged in covert op the couple faces not just malicious corp giant, but also an unknown actor that is doing everything in their very, very vast power to break them apart. We know why the lies and hiding: they're being outplayed and made to believe it's the only way. It's quite easy to imagine she knows what she had to do would make her husband look at her entirely differently and being in love she is afraid of him growing disgusted by her, as much as she is disgusted by herself, all the more so the deeper into rabbit-hole X drags her (I'm sure there's multiple lines about it in-game, but I think that's the general gist - mind that she's not written as especially strong-willed too).

Secondly... Anna is no different. While the position of both women is clearly uncomparable (one is being unknowingly targeted for destruction, other made accessory of it), with the limited interaction Anna already did the same. Or do you think she intends to be truthful and forthcoming about the full extend of her conversation with X? She's playing the same lying game, because - exactly like Clara - she's led to believe she will come out on top in the end, with love of her life by her side.

The idea that opposites attract is just wishful thinking and it usually revolved around good girls and bad boys. Besides, that's mere attraction, and she feels that in spades for plenty of the men around her. Especially her partner that she made love with in the last update and with whom she's way more compatible with. If we go by her thoughts in the afterglow of that event alone, her feelings of contemptment and absolute satisfaction. You'd half expect that that was her husband instead. It would be absolutely believable if she ends up divorcing the MC for him. At least...if she wasn't a game character.

We can see Alan as a good boy and Clara as a unintentionally bad girl. I do agree Leon, on the surface, seems like a better fit for her but we all know he is the last guy she should end up with.

You should think from her perspective and remember we can't make choices as Clara, not any story impacting ones because we are playing as her husband.

By this point she is overwhelmed with guilt, especially after sleeping with Leon and no longer wants to use her body for anything else other than for her poor husband Her confessing her love for Alan again is proof of that and even talking about their future together. Its clear any honeypot session is too much for her to handle and the chairman being the most dangerous one, she is even more anxious. Who in their right mind would want to get too close with the chairman like that?

She is "forced" to play one only when you reject her desperate plea to help her. Otherwise, she wouldn't have. But I suppose the next penalty also won't go easy on her mental health like the last two ones. Don't you see that this entire thing is rigged to break her down bit by bit with the corruption path breaking her down even faster.

The main choice in this update is a good one. When we play as Alan, we can justify we are doing the right thing because leaking government files is a no-go OR we trust her decision and give her the real ones. But from Clara's angle, we can justify that its too dangerous to trick a dangerous man with fake files and that even if there might be some damage from giving real files, it would be worth it if the mission is a success. At that point she is just desperate to end the mission and catch X.

Yeah that's why I added "unintentionally" and not a real bad bad girl but bad in a different way. She has a good soul and a good agent who wants to get rid of bad guys, even if it means slicing their necks.

But she isn't one of the normal women we definitely hang out with as her upbringing and background isn't like normal women. From what I have seen she had a shitty father who is still in jail and seems to be up to no good as MC felt it. I think we are going to learn more about her through her father since dev hinted that he might be a important character.

Being smart does not equal to Being a jerk He is already suspecting Anna's feelings towards him but he is trying his best to not make things awkward between them as they have been working together for 3 or some years and he sees Anna as a close friend.

One path for Clara starting a family with Alan (the faithful path)
One path for Clara breaking up with Alan (the coward Alan path / the Anna path)
One path for Clara getting knocked up by Leon (the Leon path)

Don't see any more viable options unless they introduce more "important" characters.
