It probably is my own mistake that I've thought of this game more than it actually is.
For a first few updates it seemed like it could go a bit more unconventional, but now it just seems to be another NTR game.
To developers, if they read this: you've managed to give players a decent hook to get caught up with the story, but then it slowly went downhill.
Introducing MC's momma is just the worst possible NTR cliche that you could've chosen. IMO, introducing Grace as a cougar that Alan could cheat with would've been far better choice. Like, Clara has her bunch of apples that attract her and Alan has his fair share of ones, too. That way you could give the player the thing with "nobody's saint in here. Even you, if you choose to do so"(yeah, you've got Anna, but having girls butting heads over Alan while other bunch of dudes are butting heads over Clara could've been the way to go)
But we've gotten with generic "First I'm gonna steal your girl and then I'm gonna bang your mom" trope.
At this point, there's almost no intrigue left unless there's another bunch of Deus Ex Machinas along the way.
Expected something fresh, but from now on will treat it for what it is: just another type of APBLU story.
Pretty sad because of what it could've been)

Actually it hasn't been there since the game started the dev has edited the overview and the dev notes after being called out for blatantly lying/misleading in them. There was a post I can't seem to locate now about the dev stating that Clara knows she has broken Alan's trust and faith but is still faithful to him beause she still loves him, that was after the Leon scene came out when there was a big "discussion" about the faithful wife route. I also quoted where the dev said there would be a faithful wife route during that discussion, for someone who said he never said that.

It's been said quite a few times before that this could have been a great story but instead for whichever reason the dev chose his current version and it's now imo and below average to average ntr trope story.
I really don't get the mom thing, she knows who Leon is. I'm sure any woman would want to fuck the son(or any member of the family) of the person who destroyed her family, stole their money and caused her husband's death, more or less ruining her and her son's lives. That seems believable, just like a loving, faithful, caring wife would hop into bed with her husband's worst enemy less than a week after meeting him, committing an unforgivable act to destroy her marriage to a person she is being blackmailed into doing all these things she doesn't want to do to save his life.

Nah mate, it was said in very early updates that Clara will be fucked at least once no matter what.
I guess that by Faithful route devs mean that Clara is faithful in her mind and had only that one mistake. It's pretty obvious what SinfulDudes meant by that)
And after all - it's a game. It has underperformed in my eyes and in yours. But there's no point in pointing fingers and saying "Oh, YOU LIAR!1! I expected this and it's all your fault!!!"
I expected something different too. It wasn't. I gave my feedback and that's it. Won't get into 2+ page holy wars for it)

Go back and reread the dev notes where he states he is trying to clear things up due to misunderstandings. It wasn't always there. He meant faithful in her heart not mind, but it doesn't matter if SHE thinks she is faithful, it's about the MC and what he thinks. People seem to forget that. So far there has been nothing other than her constantly having to remind herself she loves Alan to even show she cares, she gets mad and blames him even when she screws up, she pushes him away and brings Leon closer, which shows she cares more for Leon than Alan. At this point you kinda wonder why she even cares if Alan gets killed by X other than she won't have anyone to use to get what she needs to proceed or blame everything on. For someone who wants a save the marriage ending he sure doesn't give you alot of reason to save it.
Edit- not trying to get into wars just discussing things with what seems to be one of the more reasonable ones here. It's more of a choose your ending story than a game tbf. Either way as I and others have stated he had a chance to make a great non typical netorare game/story but instead went down the usual path making a run of the mill crapshow.

I really like the game from the very beginning! Why do you like it? Because it fits my ideas of an erotic detective story! I'm talking about the game as a whole, not individual releases! Overall, the story has moved forward a lot. Sex is again being used as a tool to get information! Grace is now sure that Leon cannot be trusted! There is a high probability that Leon's father is Mr. X! But Grace is now also addicted to Mr. X and Leon! It turns out Grace was the lover of Benjamin, Leon's father. This fact is a complete surprise and it is unknown how Alan will react if he finds out about it! Clara's father was released. Mr. Brown probably helped.I think the hottest events with Harrison, Gunnar, and the Browns should happen next! I hate Leon, but he's going to participate too... About the crisis of the genre! Will you look at what films are being released? Remakes of old movies! Everything has already happened, but the screenwriters do not have enough imagination. This is also the case with games! )You got NTR, you people wanted it. Everything was and is included in this. But it can be a happy ending, it's true, I didn't like it with such a fraud that it was with the enemy. It would be a shame for Dev to have a child with Clara, then in the end we are talking about a fucking worm. But the rest is acceptable.
