By looking at the discord and patreon I think the v0.12.8 update is meant only for Patreons at this time, with a public release coming in a few days. So I'm sure the changelog will be updated appropriately soon enough by someone with access to it.

- New System: "UNLOCKED POTENTIAL!" You can now use your Powers anywhere, right from the Powers menu! The scope is limited right now (mostly Drift secrets) but will be expanded over time, and will come into play a lot more in Act Three! (gain this ability through magic training with Lyx)
- Magic Training: Level Four training available!
- Misc: Tweaked the wording of one of the leads to be a little less confusing
- Misc: Tweaked the time system so that it properly checks your location before triggering morning events
- Misc: Added a couple more renders to the sparring match with the Captain
- Bug: Fixed the incorrect text at the church which was telling you to increase your authority.

You need to first find Lyx, who helps you "unlock" your magic
you will need to progress Kana and Annies story to do that part

That's not news, the game gets leaked every single week nowadays.
Not like it matters much, the public comes in three days and the early access is locked behind the 1$ tier.
Wouldn't be surprised if one of the uploaders themselves was the source of the leaks.
Just some easter egg text in specific locations, doesn't really matter unless you care about the lore.
And even then, it's not that much anyway.
You won't have to wait, because it won't happen.
Since last year he has been adding pregnancies for some main girls.
Kana, Pixie, Lily, Jessica, Madison, Veronica, Annie, Asteria, Luna and Emma can get preggernet if you get to love level 4.
System is a bit jank, only one child per mother (unless you yeet the old kid into the void) and the pregnancy only lasts a week.
(At least the preggo sex is unlocked in the gallery. Also Pixie's only lasts a day)
Some of the main girls can't get pregnant at love 4 (Qarinah and Roxy), and others aren't at the right level yet (Morgana, Lyx, Chastity, Gwen and Chloe)
I heard some side girls might be able to get preggers, but I wouldn't say soon.

Eh, to be fair, good ol' Robin "Twenty-five" Goodfellow isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
And also you have to account for the fact that the player may not have met Artifact before doing this event.
And I'd imagine that locking the event so you have to meet Artifact before doing it seems a bit weird.
I guess it's the same with the fact that he didn't think of Sawano right away when he needed to make a bomb.
