With reduced quality also means it's not as taxing on system resources .

As for general shitty laptop windows tips:
  • Are you using a solid state drive or regular old hard disk drive? If you are still using an old hdd then back in XP days you could tell the pc to cache some things with ReadyBoost and a Thumb Drive. Not as good as an ssd but it will improve some performance a bit.
  • RAM for old laptop models can be cheap on places like ebay so if you haven't maxed out your RAM consider doing that.
  • Close any unnecessary programs that are running to free up system resources. (Messengers, Weather Reports, Steam, etc)
  • If your Main C Drive has less then 15% free space then delete some files to get it around this point as the system may run slow if there isn't enough room for things like the Page File and other temporary system files.

I just remembered something else: the tombstone we find in Roxy's demesne. The dead person there is #23.

Could #23 have been the "hero" in the 23rd cycle? If so, that would mean another version of us that died in the cycles. If this is all true, it means that the 23rd hero failed in his attempt to break the cycle.

That would mean whoever or whatever entity keeping this cycle going is the same being that destroyed the world we see in Roxy's demesne. The game has already more or less implied that Roxy is not the person responsible for that world's destruction (at least, that's my understanding), so this theory has at least some potential to it. If the game plays out this way, we could see our MC proving Roxy's innocence, and further investigating just who the heck destroyed that world.

Who do I think destroyed 23's world? The Eldritch. Gramps has said in his dialogue that the Eldritch are far more dangerous than both the Organization and the Fey combined. The Beast, one of the Eldritch, is hunting the MC, aka #25 for unknown reasons. The gravestone says that 23 failed (someone please tell me the exact text on 23's grave, I would love to have a reminder of what it said exactly). I'm thinking that the "hero" in each cycle is really the only big threat to the Eldritch. If true, it would explain why the Beast is after us this time around.

I would love it if my theory were correct. It makes sense to me. I'm sure there's things that point away from my theory, but what I put together in this post does explain a lot of stuff.

If you have an alternate theory for the plot/lore of this game, I'd love to hear it.

I have been throwing some theories around, but never bothered to post them anywhere except from DMs in discord with other folks.
Also I do wonder if people start being vocal about the theories and stuff then Arc would try and change some stufff around so the story still has some unexpected twists and shit.

Is it just me or does Gwen's face look too small for how big the rest of her hair/head are. Also the old biker outfit had a more modern feel to it, instead of this weird porn parody of a biker girl... Still love the game, but some redesigns need more work.

Don't need to buy it. She just keeps it after the event. After all she already has it in the event, why would you need to buy it?

Just have sex with here and choose the costume to see the new scene. Well it isn't a new scene, just a new Outfit and a few new lines of flavour text to the alreaddy well known cowgirl animation in her small or large state....

I loved it!! Just a minor gripe- I didn't like Pixie's hair style in it, but I don't like that asymmetrical look in general anyway. I would have have preferred perhaps an Elvira/Morticia look (and the costume!) ...

As to Pixie's candy haul- what, no Tootsie Rolls? Pixie doesn't know what she's missing. Tootsie Rolls are the BEST!!

Reminder that the explore mod doesn't need an update for new versions, although perhaps the button 'apartment fire' should be renamed as it, y'know, isn't any more. :unsure:

The first part? Basically just do, as the cangelog says. Change all 3 types of decoration in your room to the halloween stuff and then go to sleep.

because I don't want to download the compressed version (the quality is way to low for my taste)
