Thanks for the reply.
"Arc doesn't even come here"
Bear in mind, the versioning that Arc uses doesn't make much sense.
It started on 0.1.0 and it increases by one until 0.1.9 and then goes to 0.2.0
So we're like, almost 100 versions in. Worked on for the past 2 years by one guy.
That's koikatsu for you. I also personally prefer the more cartoonish/anime-ish 3d style instead of the more "realistic" approach of other engines.
There's a
whole load of other games that use the same engine.
Probably other people in this thread can recommend some.
Only one I've played aside from this one is
Tales of Unity, and the feel is a bit different since it's a regular VN instead of being sandboxy like CK.
Thanks for the info. I'm guessing Patreon/Discord should I want to contact Arc, then.
Some people seriously love to point out the more meta reason for the change in appearance. At least for me it seems like it was going to happen anyway.
And Arc has said before that she won't return to her old looks.
Yeah, the potion thing is bullshit, can't think of a better way to implement it aside from buying potions in bulk.
But that'd require reworking the barebones inventory system to allow multiple items of the same category (Same for pregnancy potions)
And permanently turning it off, kinda doesn't make sense lore-wise.
Bummer... considering her 'card' didn't have the cute gfx, i knew something would happen sooner or later.
Noticed... yeah, would have been nice if I had 2 when I conquered Veronica and Madison. Luckily I didn't need the second one, but i would have been disappointed if I only managed to knock up one... that being said, it wasn't definate "may get pregnant."
That is the typical thing with possessions. Nothing lasts forever on them.
Ya know, she's pretty tame for a Yandere. Arc doesn't have the balls to go further with that.
Also you're not the only one to find her annoying, that's why she has a toggle in preferences.
The "Yandere mode", you can turn it off.
I noticed she was kinda soft for one, just annoying until i got the, "I know where you sleep," then it went to "Do I need to actually worry now?" You can? I had no idea. Thanks for letting me know. I'll look for it.
To be fair to Chastity. It's not like she has any content. We barely know her.
Who knows when that will change tho...
Yup, 0 hearts and "furthest I can go in this version." Looks like one should be able to, one day, buy the church from her... clearly she's more complicit than, "I feed it the hopes and prayers of the sheep so it doesn't kill me," but only the Dev knows beyond that.
Game's in development.
Plus she's a side girl and not a very popular one for that matter.
Hell, some people didn't even know the redhead that lives in her building existed.
Considering you have to follow a seeming unrelated character development route to unlock anything beyond the fire, and the statement that something else is starting the fire other than her, leaves one to believe that even after they removed her from the building, there will still be fires. The only reason I went back was for the hope that I could liberate her from her jerk hubby.
It's not implemented yet. The whole education level thingy is pointless for the time being.
Also I had completely forgotten that Julie goes to the local college...
Well, adding her to the college might be a bit of a headache, but who knows, we might get to do an uniform check at home.
I'm not the dev either way, can't confirm nor deny anything.
I'm usually not into being "Mr StealYoGirl" but the dudes are assholes, makes it real difficult to feel sorry for them.
With Gwen, you simply don't have a choice, so whether decent or jerk, it makes no difference. Otherwise, if the guy treats her decent, I'll respect their relationship. If he's a total jerk tho... All's fair...
She doesn't have a love meter, like the rest.
She has a science meter. Her progression is based on magic training.
As to when will we get some? No clue...
Also Morgana has a different meter... I guess no love for her...
I noticed Morgana's too, but I don't like her. She's killed people. I don't want to shatter her, I want to destroy her... so she can spend the rest of her natural lifetime imprisoned similar to Tauntalus (immortal?) knowing a "just a human" bested her.
