All sexual scenes are supposed to be in the gallery, but I totally forgot to include the succubus scene. Whoops! Thanks for reminding me: it'll be in the gallery from next update onwards.

In Emma and the landlady's introductory scenes their animations caused my screen to occasionally flash to black for a second, not sure if it is a hardware or software problem. Otherwise it's a very good game so far. I like how it is open enough that you don't need to arrange your actions to line up with a time limit but still a little closed by Pixie telling the PC what to do if you get stuck. Also the humor and just the writing in general really appeals to me. Also the farm background shows an abandoned train station?

The tracks and buildings in the farm background were used to load livestock and grain - a sign of more prosperous times, now sadly fallen into disrepair. Poor Annie!

It still occurs after restarting my PC, it seems to be in the same part of the animation each time (I'm assuming its the end\start of the animation loop). When I first saw it I genuinely thought I just somehow startled myself by blinking.

The tracks could indeed have been used for that, though it does sound like something you came up with after the fact. This was only something I noticed because I can be unbelievably petty and nit picky.

The screen flicker and the background thing are at most minor quirks, it hardly takes away from the rest of the game. Also I updated from 0.1.2 to 0.1.3 and that did not alter the flickering, but if no one else is experiencing it, then it's likely a problem on my end.
I also tried removing a couple of GB from my PC but it still occurred(and I can run most modern games just fine) so I don't think it's a performance issue. But if no one has this problem it would be fine by me if you just focused on the regular development, I'm capable of handling this minor inconvenience.

Very odd... I tested the scenes on three different machines with no flickering, then loaded both movie files up in Premiere Pro just to be sure; neither are encoded differently to the other .webm files. Doesn't necessarily prove anything, though, so if anyone else is experiencing this issue, please let me know!

Please don't think these are complaints, just things to consider. Loved the characters and the setting and looking forward to this game.

Pretty good so far though timed events are way behind the actual active content. With only one outfit to buy at moment is no incentive to grind work so that means the active content done in 4 days easily yet timed events on day 7 and 9.

Have concerns the H content will be slow to get to with a massive rush as a pile of characters hit the same control level. This not only discourages some players that like early H content (personally I like to build up to H content and have it part of story) it can lead to a huge bottleneck in renders trying to get so many characters H scenes out at same time.

One thing to consider on good path is routes to win the girls over without power, not an issue either way just give a bit of diversity between dark and light paths.

On suggestion by earlier post on mini games- be very careful as they have killed a lot of good games with mass rage quitting if progress is stopped by a mini game. There are some great games that incorporate mini games well but even experienced developers have been instuck by mini games. If you do decide to try make sure there is a skip/complete key built in then you cater to those who like and hate mini games.

Hope this helps and look forward to this game a lot. Now I off to Patreon to be a cheapskate sponsor.

"win the girls over without power " - waste of dev's time imo. Game is focused on a really well done mind control theme and should stay that way, not change into dating sim. If anything the last 2 updates were disappointing because we didnt get to use our powers once...

Hey, no worries - I love constructive criticism. How else am I going to improve as a developer? :) I'll see if I can address each of your concerns, but let me know if I miss anything or you want more detail:

1. I agree - the active events and purchasable outfits are way behind. I've thought about it, and part of the problem is that I'm rushing every week to get Wallpapers, Character Renders, Poll Girls and so on all done and it's leaving me very little time to advance the main story and Control lines. So starting this week I'll be rearranging the timetable for all of those to give me more time to work on pure content.

2. The "Good" and "Bad" routes are going to be more shades of grey, and it won't be as simple as "Use/Don't Use Control" - but I'm not going to give any spoilers! ;)

3. No minigames are currently planned to be in Corrupted Kingdoms. I personally feel that 90% of them are unnecessary and tend to pull me out of the game either due to non-immersiveness or simply frustration. The really good ones are way beyond my meagre efforts as a programmer :p

As mentioned above, minigames are not currently planned in Corrupted Kingdoms. If we hit our Patreon/Subscribestar goal and there's a huge demand for it and I can hire someone who really knows what they're doing then maybe... but I'd much rather focus on doing everything in an in-story way.

Also as mentioned above, the Good/Bad routes aren't necessarily going to be related to whether or not you use Control. So whilst each girl will eventually have a Romance route, you can do that either separately from Control or alongside it (and that won't be implemented until we hit the end of Act One at least - until then, I'm focusing on the core game design!)

Im glad you plan to bring more Control scenes and interactions in the future updates, those are by far my favourite parts about this game. Also yea, you might want to take it easy with all this side stuff like wallpapers, renders etc. and character polls could be released like once per two weeks or even once per month instead of weekly if that means more core content(h-scenes, control events/interactions, story progression).
Im sure most of your patrons would agree(im one of them) ^^

Haha, well I'm glad I have your support - and hopefully the other Patrons/Subs/players will feel the same way.

I'm going to take today to plan out a proper timetable, but my current thinking is to move the wallpapers, character renders and character poll to a monthly schedule. Updates will remain on a weekly release schedule.

That done, I will take this week and next week as a sort of "revving up" - advancing storylines, moving us closer to the end of Act One (which will have a big effect on the game world) and generally preparing for August, which will be the MONTH OF CONTENT. No new mechanics, no mucking around, just pure story and Control content.

I like the ability to decorate the flat, there may not be many options now but they can be fleshed out later. I wonder if some of the items will be more than purely aesthetic, for example if you have a girl over she may comment on if you have a real bed or not, or if you have a sexy poster as opposed to a SFW one. I wouldn't expect anything major, but a little something to reflect the choices you've made would be nice.
One thing I would suggest is that currently things look a bit odd as the decorations don't react to the lighting, the most obvious being the posters which are placed right over a shadow. Personally I'd hang them in the scene and render them to get the lighting right, then cut them out of that image for the layered version. That may just be me being a perfectionist, though.

Regarding the schedule, personally I wouldn't mind if you went to monthly updates if the total amount of content remained the same. It might work better with the polls; monthly creators can do things like give the girl who came first three scenes, the second girl two and the third girl one, which would be a bit much to ask on a weekly schedule. Of course it's nice getting some so frequently too, so I really don't mind either way.

The decoration system was designed to be as plug-and-play as possible, so it's very easy to add new items - expect to see more and more of them as the updates progress :) Your choice of decoration will also affect certain interaction options (more in Act Two than Act One) - such as unique sexy scenes for particular furniture, for example.

Those shadows are baked into the map, unfortunately, so to get the shadows looking perfect I'd need to do a lot more work in Photoshop for each one. Which I may do during the post-Act-One polishing phase, but right now I'm trying to keep the time I spend on non-story/Control stuff to a minimum ;)

I'm going to stick to weekly updates (I work better with shorter deadlines, and I prefer having the more immediate feedback from players on what they like and don't like) and my current plan is for the character poll to determine which characters get the most content in the upcoming month of updates, rather than weekly. I probably won't do a strict "X scenes for first place" since that severely affects the flow of story content, but the top three winners will get proportionally more events than the rest of the cast :)

Not a fan of mini games myself and was warning after an earlier poster wanted them. I do love the power control, just suggested a different approach to both paths for a little diversity AND story concept, using powers to control peoples lives is fine on revenge path but when you on Justice path for people removing mothers control of own life isn't it hypocritical to take away others control of own lives in seeking justice or when on good path resenting the control the Dryad has over you while exerting same control on others? Having extra tools in box does not mean you can't keep using sledge hammer if you want but it gives us role players options to suit whatever persona we playing in a particular playthrough. In D&D there are many skills for different classes that use exactly same mechanics to produce similar results. It doesn't need to be a dating sim but just another ability say "charm" that has to be done 3 times in normal play instead of once to get same effect but can be used in front of other people (just an example not a suggestion). It also fits the lore as not all fae abilities are magical and charm was one of big ones that innate ability for a lot of Fae species.

Might be but who says we are playing as good guy anyway. He could start as decent person but then gets corrupted by too much power or he might be Chaotic Evil(in D&D terms) from the start - being an evil SoB with mind control powers just sounds more fun. Imo of course ^^
