I mean, isn't that pretty much the norm with stuff like this?
Kind of a similar thing happens in relationships, a lot more effort is spent trying to make the other person fall for you and then once you're in a stable relationship it starts to fall apart, the spark is lost...

Point is. Yeah, devs often put a lot more work at the start of the project.
They're nobodies, they have to prove themselves to the audience that they're worthy of having money thrown at them.
Even worse when there's a bunch of projects similar to yours.
So you have to compete in the niche, try out new things to make your project stand out from the rest, hopefully avoid making the same mistakes the ones before you have done.
But once you have a consistent amount of people throwing money at you... there's hardly any need to push as hard.
At some point, you're pretty much set, any more followers are just a bonus.
Unless you somehow were to seriously fuck up, you'd still have a steady amount of supporters that will most likely keep on growing anyway, albeit at a slower pace.
And even if you fuckup, big chance there's a group of people that would throw money anyway.
So you're free to spend your days jerking off and playing gacha games.
Let's be honest, devs like these have no incentive to work harder.
Quite the opposite in fact.
Even if you're amongst the handful of devs that haven't been corrupted by the power just yet.
Working full throttle all the time is just going to stress you up and then you end up burnt out.
Congrats, the project is now doing a horny eagle death spiral into being abandoned or ending up in development hell.
And even then.
It's not as simple as saying "hard work = success", sometimes you work your ass off and still go unnoticed.

I have a question to ask: I currently playing Corrumpted Kingdoms (or should I say playing, after a looong time, so it's a new adventure and all of that)
But here the thing: Currently I reached Act II and yesterday, when I was doing an Event (Kana's First Festival), the sound of the train was on loop by itself even after the Event and it's still on loop in my game at the moment
My question is: How can I put the loop to stop and have you faced this issue during your game ?
I know I can turn the sound OFF but I kinda appreciate the ambiant sound in this game and it's kinda sad to turn it off and sadly restart the game or even make a new game, don't resolve the issue cause when I'm at the same Event, the loop of the train's soud is still here
Do you know a solution by chance ?

This update is available to ALL Patrons, with the public build being released in a few days.
This week it's more Jackie and a LOT of fixes! With those out of the way the road is now clear for a hopefully final push on side content before getting to Act Three! Exciting Also, more chances to make babies and a shortcut to Samantha's apartment! I hope you enjoy!

- Jackie(?): Cosplay Fashion! You can now get Jackie(?) to pose in her normal outfit!
- Jackie(?): You can now be naughty with Jackie(?) in her normal outfit!
- Jackie(?): Some new dialogue lines for Jackie(?)
- Apartment: You can now unlock Samantha's apartment on the Town Map! No more having to go via EXPLORE! Just visit the apartment to trigger the map unlock
- Pregnancy: Some naughty scenes didn't give you the opportunity to impregnate the girls. Now they do! YOU get a baby! And YOU get a baby!
- College: Pool Twins and Basketball girls didn't get new dialogue when you maxed out your Authority. Now they do!
- Misc: Replaced the "???" property cards with blank placeholder cards to avoid confusing people, since those properties aren't available yet. Thanks to CursedFlame91 for the graphic!
- Bug: New sound system had some bugs (of course) with endlessly-repeating audio. No more torture! So long as you tell me what I want to know...
- Bug: Some people thought the new animations were a bit fuzzy. They have been shaved. I mean updated. Yes... updated...
- Bug: A few graphical/display bugs have been fixed (ghost festival, third mother meeting and Nexus button in the bunker)
- Bug: Typo Hero clings to the voice, pulling himself from the dark mire of unconsciousness... the voice... his childhood friend's voice... all this time he'd thought she was dead, but no... she was really only deaf!

Tried it with the other games. As it seem I have the problem with every Ren'Py game now. It somehow skips trough dialogs and it feels like a click doesn't do anything up until i can choose between different dialogs.
Anyone a solution for this weird behavior?

oh for fucks sake... I found my problem....
Somehow my game pad messed it up completely. Everything I did was reversed by it or it just kicked in a skip through a lot of dialogues. haha
Now I can finally play again and enjoy the games.

So what's the deal with trying to find the key to Samantha's apartment? Did I miss something in this or one of the previous updates? Or has it not been implemented yet? I'm not seeing it in the changelogs anywhere.
