Now me none, but Starfield I pre-ordered for $100.00 USD, and while I did have some fun with that game, those fucking devs only seem to care about patching exploits in the game, and not fixing game breaking bugs, and after a while of playing you realize that the game is pretty empty and dull.

So again maybe give the dev of a indy freaking FREE porn game some slack.

It did change again due to the complains on how grindy the old system was, yes....

Nevertheless, It's not that common to find an actually interesting (porn) game like this and a dev that applies updates frequently, not going for the "Good game, see you in 6 months!" route and actually responds to the criticism!

I played this game way back 2020-ish, when it still had the old character models. I don't remember how far I got at the time but when I decided to drop the game, forget about it, and maybe stumble upon it again around the end of 2021, maybe it'll be finished. It was still in being developed and received constant updates when I decided to play it around 2021, and I think I got up until the yandere gwen sequences, and decided to drop it again, and wait until 2022 for even more updates.

Now, I literally just finished catching up. The game has progressed by a LOT, and content-wise this has got to be the most interesting H-game I've played (to anyone who read this, and you know any similar games with a LOT of content, please recommend them to me). The lore is so, SOOOO good, maybe a few plot holes here and there, but it's unfinished! I'm sure the creator has more in-store for us.

I'm a little, JUUUUUST a little disappointed by the character model changes tho. But, I.. kinda got used to it at this point. There's just something weird about Emma and Kana that makes me.. uhh.. giggle a little. Oh, and the gallery doesn't really give you everything even if you unlock it via the cheat on your laptop, right? That's kinda weird. Battle system was... Okay, i guess? There's SOME grind into it, and prior to playing the game, I was reading some comments here saying that it was too much grind and the mechanics are hard. Was it though? I'm too disinterested in downloading the previous versions of the game to know, but if it helps, the "grind" is a lot easier on this update.

Also, I haven't tested it yet, but does Gwen still go yandere during act 3? I kinda turned it off because I thought she might've killed me in act 2 if I haven't, and I was kinda waiting for that to happen back in act 2, but it's been weeks and all she does is look at the window on my room and nothing else. And since nothing was happening, I just turned it off. Spoil me guys, go ahead. Does anything happen if I don't talk to her for around 3-4 weeks in act 2? Does the yandere effect still exist in act 3 or is it in development?

But... With all that, I don't pay the creator in his patreon, and my opinion is miniscule at best. Still won't deny the fact that this is a great game despite the criticisms though!

1- I'm fully aware that I'm going down that route.

I've heard about their replacements recently, went to check em out via a comparison made, felt more comfortable with the new ones lol (Idk maybe I'm not used to the old ones since I've never heard about em...for more context: I've been around since V0.17.9)

Yes, It was so grindy and almost everybody hated it!

To me, the old one seemed to have promising RPG elements released....

Nevertheless, the new system has it's own perks too and I don't mind it!

We have to wait for the story to finish so that we can fully judge and critique the entire game properly!

And no, the previous criticism wasn't bad!, if it was, the old system would've been still up!, but shoving your opinion down and insisting that everybody boycotting the dev's Patreon people's throats is where you cross the line!

I would also like to clarify that I'm not biased on either sides, I'm just being real!, losing all of the progress of the main girls from Act 2 sucks yes, but we shall be able to reconnect with them later on!, we just need to give them (The dev(s)) a chance!

And finally, let's not forget that Arc wouldn't want the game-that has been running and getting frequent updates for almost five years- to be forgotten too!

Loosing literally all progress and getting a hard cut shoved in your face is no fun. That's not even up for debate.
The game is in a unfortunate situation that it gets developed in updates and not as a finished experience. Of course people are getting salty.
Its like getting forced to play with a save from another player and find yourself in a complete different situation. People missing, content gone and everyone is behaving differently. It just feels weird.

It took all momentum out of the game and the only thing the player got out of it is frustration and delay of development. Be it the vocal minority or the silent majority.
The opinion is virtually the same for the vast majority of the community.....at least here on F59 xD

To this day I believe the whole situation could have been solved in a better way. Why have the battle system to begin with anyway for example?

A more common ground would have been to finish this game with mechanics everyone is attuned to (we are in the last stretch anyway) and introduce the battle system in a new game where the minds of the players are more open for it if the dev want to try out new things.

Mind you this is an opinion I developed as an observer. Haven't played the game since gods knows but everytime I come occasionally around it feels like the game is in a stand still and does not progress. Peoples opinions are as salty as ever and at this point of writing I remembered why I wanted to distance myself from this thread haha

Anyway we had a back and forth of it already but you can't always argue with "we are in a war, how else should the dev have continued" Cluck.

.....I'll be honest, I....I've never had in mind that there might be OGs/Veterans that has been here from the scratch and waited - and even donated - for this game to be honest, by reading that statement, I guess I'm starting to understand where all of this saltiness coming from....
