I still can't get over how bad this new UI is. It is so much worse visually than the original one.

The College is Busy...
The latest update has been released!
Three new naughty scenes and the foundations of a new exploration system in this month's update! Learn a little more about the people who live in and around the college, have some naughty fun with Veronica and Madison, then home for a quick bath and a little more fun with Ami! Plus, a bunch of bug fixes and tons of under-the-hood changes to get things ready for the next BIG update! I hope you enjoy!
NOTE: There is no fixed date for the next release as it's going to be a BIG one. I don't want to rush it, or release it half-baked, or keep pushing back the date, so I'm hanging a "when it's ready" sign on this one. I'll be sure to keep everyone updated via posts and livestreams on the progress of it, so stay tuned!

- AMI: New naughty scene with Ami! (Talk to her on Monday morning when she's cleaning the bathroom)!
- VERONICA: New naughty scene with Veronica! (Talk to her in the College)!
- VERONICA: Veronica now uses the updated character model in her Act Three scenes!
- MADISON: New naughty scene with Madison! (Talk to her in the College)!
- MADISON: Madison now uses the updated character model in her Act Three scenes!
- COLLEGE: Five new "Explore" events in the college! These use a new randomisation system which will be built out over time. I was hoping to get more explore events into all the other districts as well, but ran out of time.
- Bug: Alice's text is no longer misaligned during conversations
- Bug: The missing "shaking text" has returned! MC's reaction to Beast and Control/Desire text should now make a LOT more sense...
- Bug: Players could still skip time in Act One through the Outskirts map. Now they cannot!
- Bug: Fixed the "yours" error. As it turns out, it was mine, not yours
- Bug: Fixed the "cannot find 'happy' image" for Pixie error. All she needed was a little lemon sherbet ice cream
- Bug: MC will no longer tell Kana that "Annie is right outside" if Annie is, in fact, not right outside
- Bug: Day and time will no longer appear underneath dream text
- Bug: Typos and grammatical errors fixed

Haven't checked in on this game in a while. Is it still a complete trainwreck since he introduced the tactical RPG element and dropped all story elements?

God I hope since he's saying the next update is gonna be huge that he uses it to fix the god-awful new UI, with some luck we'll revert to the old one. I'd love for more content (Chloe content especially) but fucking hell that UI change was so goddamn unnecessary and absolutely disastrous.

I don't expect anything out of the dev anymore. I doubt he will change the UI. Dunno how it works but I am sure that he needs to remove it from thousands of lines of code.
I doubt he will make the effort to do so.
Also "big" update....dunno. The hype is gone since last year or even before that. The game needs to be finished.
Dunno about you guys but I feel like it is dragged out long enough now.
We are at the 6th year of development now. It's time to move on.

Eh fair enough, the game is still fun for me but I hardly expect much more at this point. Maybe he will fix the UI at some point but only because it feels like a milking strategy by now. It sucks, but what can you do. Not gonna cry about either seeing as it's just a game and there are a bunch of others to take it's place. That and more importantly I'm not paying a dime for it anyway so I can hardly complain too much lol.
Fortunately for the last half-dozen updates or so there's been no more combat added and he's returned to story-telling.

Of the fuck course. This is common knowledge: in adult games involving sex, you do not implement minors in the NPC group at all. This can be misconscieved as possible future sex involving minors.
In addition, this even goes with characters that simply look less than 18, no matter what age they are described to have!
I refer to the United Nations conventions regarding this matter: no character that looks underage may be used pornographically in any kind of art, whether it is comics, games, text, or photos. And if you're American the FBI investigates this kind of stuff.

I hope it all worked out for you. I havent played CK for a long time now, so i might not even have tried it in the new vision. But i am going to take a look at it on steam, and if its not too expensive for my poor body, i will buy it. That or wait for the game to hit a discount (or maybe i just win the lottery, who knows)..
